With 60 players added to the rankings of the 2025 class it makes it difficult for many players to climb up in the rankings. Below are six players who still managed to move up.

[player_tooltip player_id='181307' first='Leni' last='Stanton-Parker'] MB/OH (Langley/Metro) - Her move to Metro certainly puts her in the spotlight. For Langley she played both middle and outside. Currently, she is a more consistent hitter in the middle because she does not have to worry about timing. With more repetition on the outside her play there should improve. Her athleticism and quickness allow her to play the back row well. With her addition Metro has a lot of depth in their lineup. Movement 6 to 2.

[player_tooltip player_id='181763' first='Jada' last='Aksu'] RS (Georgetown Day/Metro) - Jada also plays on the Metro 16 team but her lineup spot seems secure. Her left handed swing suits the right side. At 6'0" she can also put up a good block from that position. From what I've seen she does not get involved in the passing rotation but can be used to hit in the back row. She does have a tendency to stand too tall on defense, but her offense is high caliber. Definitely a player on the rise. Movement 13 to 5.

[player_tooltip player_id='181299' first='Ada' last='McCoy'] OH (Mussleman/Blue Ridge) - Didn't know too much about Ada since she plays for a West Virginia high school. She dominated from the outside at the Endless Summer tournament as her team defeated Colgan to win the championship division. This year she will be competing with a very strong Blue Ridge 16 team. Another player to keep your eyes on. Movement 10 to 8.

[player_tooltip player_id='181311' first='Skyler' last='Tennant'] RS (Battlefield/Paramount) - For Battlefield she played right side. The tools exist to also play left side. Paramount has a lot of depth on their roster to move players around. The Cedar Run District voted her to the second team. A fun player to watch. Movement 20 to 14.

[player_tooltip player_id='181245' first='Anisa' last='Flowers'] S (Patriot/East Coast Power) - She stands just 5'3" but she has some sweet hands that can put the ball consistently outside. The Cedar District also voted her to their second team. On the East Coast Power roster it appears they list her as a practice player. It would be a waste not to watch her participate in tournaments. Movement 35 to 26.

[player_tooltip player_id='181244' first='Ryan' last='Hicks'] S (Broad Run/Metro) - She appears as the third player on this list for Metro 16 (pictured above as 15's). At 5"11" she carries good length for a setter. Last year at the Junior Nationals Metro chose to run a 5/1 and she was used strictly on defense playing in area one. The Dulles District named her to their first team, one of just two sophomores to make the team. It will be interesting to see how Metro uses her this season. Movement 34 to 28.

Chesapeake Chirps: The Washington Post came out with their All Met team. Their first team seems to align with our rankings. Player of the year was [player_tooltip player_id='180288' first='Emerson' last='Sellman'], our number one ranked player for 2024. Other players on the Post first team ranked 2-6 on our 2023 rankings . Number 11 [player_tooltip player_id='181183' first='Pam' last='McCune'] stood out as our number two rated middle blocker. The last two players on the Post first team rated number two in our 2024 rankings and frosh [player_tooltip player_id='238358' first='Evie' last='Huang'], will be rated in our top ten for 2026. Our number one for 2023 could only get an honorable mention from the Post...Also, the 2022 winter National Team Development Training rosters include [player_tooltip player_id='181303' first='Isabelle' last='Bardin'] and Lameen Mabu in the U16/17 Division and [player_tooltip player_id='181097' first='Safi' last='Hampton'], [player_tooltip player_id='181232' first='Renee' last='Jones'] and [player_tooltip player_id='180288' first='Emerson' last='Sellman'] in the U18/19/20 division.

With 60 players added to the rankings of the 2025 class it makes it difficult for many players to climb up in the rankings. Below are six players who still managed to move up.
