#16, Ellie Perkins (Owen County)– Senior setter for Owen County, Ellie Perkins had 91 service aces this past year and averaged 1.36 aces per set. Perkins also led the team with 228 assists and added 90 kills. With a plethora of accomplishments, Perkins earned District All-Tournament Team and the Class “A” All-Tournament Team. Perkins is a very humble player and proves constantly that she just wants the best for her team. She will be missed for Owen County!
#17, Aubrey Allison (Fulton County)– With 85 aces in her senior year, Aubrey Allison of Fulton County showed out for her final season. Whenever Allison came into the game, it was obvious because of her serving skills and passion for her teammates. Serving might be one of the most important skills of volleyball, but it’s also a mental attribute that only some players have. It’s a want to make an impact for the team, and Allison had the talent and the mindset.
#18, Olivia Miller (Kentucky Country Day)– Don’t leave out 28th District team, Kentucky Country Day, and their star defensive specialist, Olivia Miller. Finishing the year with 75 aces, senior, Olivia Miller, was a defensive specialist with a strong jump float. While she was in the game, Miller passed extremely well in serve receive where she was given half the court because of her quick feet and strong body. Miller could get to any ball close to her with ease and pass dimes from every angle. Her serve receive, defense, and serving were three keys that Kentucky Country Day needed for their success. Committed to Campbell University, Olivia Miller will do big things!
#19, Katelin Aulick (Pendleton County)– An all-around right side hitter, Katelin Aulick tallied 93 aces in 71 sets which made her average 1.31 aces per set. Aulick was a special senior for Pendleton County as she provided the heart and love for the game. With 119 kills and 279 digs, Aulick helped the team in the front and back row while spreading positivity to her whole team. Pendleton County lost in the district championship against Harrison County in four sets, but Katelin Aulick had a remarkable game with 7 kills, 30 digs, and 8 aces. What a season for Aulick.
#20, Kylie Richardson Kylie Richardson S Pendleton County | 2023 State KY (Pendleton County)– Another Pendleton County senior, Kylie Richardson Kylie Richardson S Pendleton County | 2023 State KY , impacted the squad with 78 service aces in 60 sets. Richardson was on the top assists leaderboard with 604 and averaged 10.07 assists per set. As a dominant volleyball and softball player in the state, Richardson is just a gifted athlete and has that fearless player mindset. Whether it’s behind the service line, setting the ball, or even hitting a line drive in softball, this kid has true skills.
