I love watching athletes improve throughout their careers or athletes that were under the radar early in their high school career and explode onto the scenes as they get older. It is such a fun aspect of being a scout.
There were nearly 30 stock-risers in the rankings. This kind of movement shows how hard these athletes work on and off the court.
Olivia jumped from 19th ranked to 14th. She has always been a high-level player and highly ranked in this class, but in the past few months she has really been impressive. Olivia brings great intensity to the court and elevates her team around her. She can play all six rotations and is very well-rounded. She has a lot of experience on the court, both on the national level for club, and playing in two state championship matches with Oconomowoc.
Emily is a very talented setter who recently committed to North Dakota State. She is running a 5-1 on Sting 17 Gold this year and helping lead them to a lot of success. Emily jumped up from 24th in the rankings to 19th and has earned every spot she has gone up. Emily is athletic and disciplined. She runs a fast tempo ball and has great form. Emily makes smart choices and spreads her offense well.
Rylea has been very impressive this club season. She moved up a few spots from 24th to 22nd. Rylea is an explosive middle that blocks pin to pin and has huge momentum-changing plays. She never gives up on a play and pulls blockers with her wherever she moves. Rylea is powerful but she is also smart, and that makes for a truly lethal middle hitter.
Kendall is one of the insanely talented pins on Sting 17 Gold. She has a huge vertical and a high contact point. Kendall is valuable in transition and executes in out of system plays. She thrives on fast-tempo plays and is always ready to earn points for her team. Kendall jumped from 28th to 25th in our rankings.
Ellery had an impressive high school season with Sauk Prairie and continues to grow in her game during the club season. Ellery has great court awareness and is quick to react whenever a ball comes over the net. She is fearless in the back row and goes head to head against big hitters without batting an eye. Ellery is an impressive libero who moved up in our rankings from 34th to 31st.
This UW-Green Bay commit jumped from 41st to 26th in our rankings. She is powerful, explosive, and can’t be ignored when she is on the court. I have seen her play twice this season so far and she has caught my eye both times. I was really impressed with her shot selection and disciplined blocking at the Badger Region Qualifier where I most recently saw her play.

She makes big plays and is not afraid to be aggressive in potentially high-pressure situations. Malayna plays at a consistent, high level and she makes momentum-changing plays on the court.
Briana really seems to have exploded onto the scene starting with this past high school season. I have seen her play numerous times this club season already and she elevates her game every time I see her on the court. Briana can swing on either pin and can also play all 6-rotations. She adds a lot of value with her versatility on the court and her ability to hit tough shots and earn points. She jumped from being ranked 80th to 69th.
Jessica is a player on the rise in this class. She jumped from 91st to 85th. She has been playing well for Sting 17 Black. She has a high reach and is a talented blocker. Jessica can play in the middle or on the right side. She has good power on the ball and a lot of potential as an athlete. I am excited to see the level she is playing at by the end of the club season.
Abby is an energizer on the court and an athlete that has taken on roles as a leader on the court for both her high school and club teams. She is incredibly versatile in her play. Abby can play on either pin and in all six rotations. She can even hop in at middle if needed! No matter where she is on the court, Abby will have an impact. She gives her all on every single play and has a great team mentality and positive mindset. She jumped from 94th in the rankings to 80th.
Maggie as caught my eye numerous times this season already. She is a fearless athlete who is gritty on the court. She can play all six rotations and is well-rounded in her skills. Maggie’s swing packs a punch and she is confident in transition and out of system balls. Maggie jumped from 108th to 96th in the rankings.

When she is playing defensive specialist, Mallory has a high vertical and powerhouse swing out of middle and right back. Jordan makes smart choices and has been a key part of Sting 17 Black’s success this season. She puts a quick tempo on the ball and keeps all of her hitters engaged. Jordan jumped from 119th to 101st.
Summer is the type of player who is going to give her all on every point, from the first to the last, at every tournament. In fact, she caught the eye of several different scouts, each at a different tournament. Summer plays with resilience and determination on the court, which helps motivate her team. She has a high vertical and lightning-fast arm swing that help her earn points. Summer is also well-rounded in all of her skills. She jumped from 123rd to 109th in the rankings.
Peri is an athlete who seems to have exploded on the scene this club season. She was nominated for the very first Prep Dig Player of the Week (vote for her here!) for her performance at Badger Region Championships. Peri never seems to miss a beat. She is dynamic in her play and can mix up the placement and power of her shots seamlessly. She is athletic and has great court awareness. She jumped from 124th to 95th in the rankings.
Ella has gotten quite a bit of coverage for her high-level of play with 262 Attack. She is powerful yet still has great ball control and is consistent. Ella has earned multiple Top-Performer accolades at Prep Dig events. She makes big kills in tough moments and is the kind of athlete you never want to take off the court. She jumped in the rankings from 133rd to 128th.
Marin has clearly been hard at work because her improvement is noticeable. She has a big vertical and is a go-to hitter on her team. She takes a lot of swings during matches and I am sure has a high hitting %. She made one of our biggest jumps in the rankings from 139th to 88th. She will be an exciting prospect to watch throughout the rest of the club season.
