Cienna Lapsley Cienna Lapsley 6'1" | MB Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran | 2025 State IN , 6-1 MB, Concordia Lutheran, Team Pineapple
Adept in front of as well as behind the setter, Cienna is a jump-out-of-the-gym athlete that can hit all of the shots off of one foot or both. Her long arms defend from pin to pin at an elite level, as I saw first-hand at the President’s Day tourney in Saint Louis.
Josie Lezon Josie Lezon 5'7" | RS Roncalli | 2025 State IN , 5-7 RS/DS, Roncalli, Team Indiana
Strong and smart, Josie can do a number of things for any team she plays for. She hits all of the angles as a right side, defends right back quite well, and is deadly from behind the base line. Her volleyball IQ is quite high as well—Roncalli kids tend to be that way. She could be anything from a six-rotation right side or a three rotation attacker for a small school, or even a defender for a large school.
Josie Myers Josie Myers 6'2" | MB Cathedral | 2025 State IN , 6-2 MB, Cathedral, Munciana Indy
Already named to the all-City (Indianapolis) team in her sophomore campaign, she should surpass 100 career blocks in her junior season for perennial 4A power Cathedral next fall. Taller than she looks, her long arms and quick transition beat most blocks to the punch.
Alyssa Hall Alyssa Hall 6'0" | MB Homestead | 2025 State IN , 5-11 MB, Homestead, Empowered
I got a chance to watch Alyssa put balls away recently at the Bluegrass tourney in Louisville. Fast and athletic, Alyssa plays bigger than her frame and has received solid training from Empowered (indoor and sand) to get her to that next level.
Olivia Johnson, 5-11 MB, Mount Vernon, Academy
Playing for the top 16s team at Academy (the Yeti), Olivia is a coachable and strong athlete who learns quickly. Her size certainly helps, as does her academic IQ—she’s pushing near a 4.0. Bigs are hard to come by as they get older, and you could do far worse than Olivia.
