The [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'] 17-1 garners more attention, but don't sleep on the clubs' 17-2 squad either.

Prep Dig scouts watched the Power's first match of the day against adidas [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] 17-1, a powerhouse squad led by multiple Division I committed players. The Power lost in straight sets 25-21, and 25-16, but multiple players from northeastern Kansas high schools still performed well.

Here is the second of multiple scouting reports from the 17 Power League play at Bel Aire's Wichita Hoops.

[player_tooltip player_id='119810' first='Anna' last='Laincz'], 5'10”, OH, Lansing, ‘24

Laincz had an eye-popping performance in the loss. The Lansing product finished with 11 serve receptions, four digs, and three kills. She has a nice serve and plays six rotations. She projects a prospect for Division II or NAIA programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='216375' first='Brynn' last='Stowell'], 6'2”, RS, Olathe West, ‘24

Stowell is a tall athlete and that automatically draws attention to her. She had three kills and two blocks in the early morning contest. Continued work on her upper body strength and refining her blocking technique will rise her recruiting stock.

[player_tooltip player_id='119730' first='Ashlynn' last='Jaccard'], 5'9”, M, Lansing, ‘24

Some players just have a knack for catching a scout's eye. Jaccard is not the most talented player on the [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'] 17-2 roster, but it can be argued that she is the best “team player,” of the group. She can play multiple positions, she was first to greet players back to the bench, and she chases down balls that get away from players, which seems to be a lost art in 2023. A consummate team player from a perennial state contender at Lansing High School, she deserves a look by NAIA and JUCO coaches.

Two other uncommitted players to take a look at are Olathe East's Chloe Tyrell and Shawnee Mission Northwest's [player_tooltip player_id='150074' first='Taylour' last='Standifer'].
