Teams from across the state battled hard, and prospects from the class of 2023 on down contributed to huge victories in each bracket. Here are just some of the standouts during the final weekend.
The NPJ Seattle 17 setter is incredibly smooth, she glides easily across the court and delivers accurate sets to her attackers. Chang has verbally committed to Central Washington and the Wildcats have a good one headed to Ellensburg. The 2024 out of Lake Washington is calm and cerebral in her play and does an excellent job finding the best matchups for her hitters.
Addison Lynn
Addison Lynn
A senior who has committed to Western Colorado University, Lynn is a floor general who controls and directs the action for her WVBA 18 Molten team. Strong and skilled in every phase of the game, she reverses the flow and will find her go to hitters when the game is on the line. She can score out of the 5-1, and is a solid fundamental blocker on the pin. She has great composure and presence on the floor, Lynn was impressive!
Kylie Munday is a 2024 (Post Falls, Idaho) setter committed to the University of San Diego. She teams with Leilani Ama Leilani Ama 5'11" | S Mt. Spokane | 2023 State WA for RVC 18 Kosty, with both setting and attacking. Munday is one of the top setters in the West, and has been consistently attending the National Team Development program for USA Volleyball. With strong hands, a great vertical and big time volleyball IQ, she impacts the game as a setter, right side attacker and excellent blocker. Munday delivers her sets with tempo and great location, controlling the offense and thinking the game. RVC has her attacking from the opposite, and she can deliver a strike to terminate a point.
Barrow is a 2023 prospect from White River, and she powered her NPJ Seattle 18 team to a Gold Division B finish. She has an excellent overall game, having played both setter and right side, and is a difficult match-up as a blocker as well. The NPJ squad played with great emotion and Barrow was a catalyst and leader for the group.
