Red Rock Rave Weekend Two Players to Watch Vol 3

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It is time for all of our amazing teams to showcase their abilities and vie for a coveted bid to USA Volleyball's Junior National tournament this summer.&nbsp; Prep Dig Oklahoma, Texas and California will be attending the Red Rock Rave National Qualifier Week 2 this weekend held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.&nbsp; I can't wait to see some amazing Cali players in action.&nbsp; Here are a few teams and players that we think will be standing out.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><u>17s</u></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Oklahoma Peak Performance 17 EP</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This team is loaded with some studs who we have covered for a few years now.&nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id='156859' first='Landry' last='Braziel'] is one of the best players in the state of Oklahoma.&nbsp; We have her ranked as the number one prospect in OK for a reason and that is because she is elite at every aspect of the game.&nbsp; She has a few horses that can run right along with her on this stellar squad.&nbsp; Libero [player_tooltip player_id='156853' first='Megan' last='Branson'] is a genius in the back row as she has great quick footwork and pursues the ball with a relentless desire.&nbsp; New to this team from last year is [player_tooltip player_id='189997' first='Jocelyn' last='Copple'] who plays big at the net.&nbsp; She can shut you down with her blocking and can hit different tempos with ease from multiple locations.&nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id='156872' first='Parker' last='Gladhill'] has some rockets in her shoes as she is super fast to the ball and also off of the ground.&nbsp; She can fly with the best of them and soars over the net to attack the ball.&nbsp; I think she has tons of potential for the next level.&nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id='177222' first='Ally' last='Fees'] is another stud who has joined this elite roster this year and can bang on the pins with anyone.&nbsp; Setter Katherine Rowe is exquisite with her dishing of the rock.&nbsp; Look for this team to be in the mix on day three in the 17 USA division.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Actyve 17 Black</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='292903' first='Emma' last='Rowell'] truly stands out on this squad because she is listed as a setter/right side and is a very integral part of their attacking game also.&nbsp; She can hit the ball from numerous locations on the court with authority.&nbsp; As one of their top point scorers, most teams will have to slow her down if they are to have a chance to beat them.&nbsp; Ava Pearce has a live arm that can score both cross and down the line with some pop from the left side.&nbsp; Setter [player_tooltip player_id='346083' first='Kate' last='Whiteley'] moves the ball around well and also battles at the net when she is in the front row.&nbsp; I love how the ball comes out of her hands so smoothly.&nbsp; She can push it all the way to the antennas from anywhere.&nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id='195182' first='Rubi' last='Harrington'] is a big middle who this team uses to shut down opposing would be attackers.&nbsp; She gets up well over the net and presses extremely well to seal it.&nbsp; Libero Gemma Larbalestier steadies the ship for this squad in the back row.&nbsp; Her serve is stifling and she is always balanced during movement to the ball and while making contact also.&nbsp; Everyone in 17 USA should be on the lookout for this team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><u>16s</u></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[program_tooltip program_id='431257' first='San' last='Antonio Magic'] 16 Elite</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ranked number one going in to the tourney in the 16 USA division, this team will have a target on their back.&nbsp; But when you watch them play, you will see why they are ranked number one.&nbsp; Left side pin [player_tooltip player_id='197275' first='Isabella' last='Andrews'] is worth the price of admission.&nbsp; Her right arm is golden and she will be one of their top point scorers for the entire tourney.&nbsp; This team has other studs also like pin attacker [player_tooltip player_id='341053' first='giselle' last='orellana'] who has great size and strength to battle any attacker at the net.&nbsp; Setters [player_tooltip player_id='187266' first='Aubrey' last='Lyssy'] and [player_tooltip player_id='194916' first='Liliana' last='Brisco'] do a phenomenal job of dispersing the ball to all hitters in order to keep the opposing team off-balance.&nbsp; They also both play exceptional defense out of the right back zone to keep their squad in the rally.&nbsp; Libero [player_tooltip player_id='186490' first='Giada' last='Obregon'] is super solid in both serve receive and defense.&nbsp; She is a very focused player who keeps her eyes on the ball and has great anticipation skills, which helps her set up in perfect position to play the ball.&nbsp; This team is battle tested and comes to this tourney with their eyes set on the prize.&nbsp; I can't wait to watch their stars in action.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Tulsa Power 16-1</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>TPV has some stars on it that will light up the court and have a lot of college coaches drooling.&nbsp; Libero [player_tooltip player_id='212410' first='Kyndal' last='Carolina'] is a flat out stud and one of the best liberos in the state of Oklahoma.&nbsp; Outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='286287' first='Arriana' last='Brown'] plays the game with power that is very difficult to match up with.&nbsp; She can bang with the best of them and there is no stopping her; you can only try to slow her down.&nbsp; I love that TPV runs her on multiple routes out of serve receive to give them many options on switching up their scoring.&nbsp; The defense doesn't get a chance to settle in and cheat to set up to block.&nbsp; Middles [player_tooltip player_id='156869' first='Kynli' last='Kirkendoll'] and [player_tooltip player_id='212409' first='Juliana' last='Borchers'] are two middles who play well above the net and with an extremely high motor.&nbsp; I watched this squad in action at Triple Crown NIT and they were explosive in every facet of the game.&nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id='212413' first='Mary' last='Goodwin'] did an amazing job of running a 5-1 when I watched them compete.&nbsp;
