Even though we just premiered our class of '26 this week, we still have athletes that have shown out since the last watch list was posted. Here are five athletes that have really shown their teammates (and opponents) their improvement this quarter.

[player_tooltip player_id='236692' first='Elle' last='Schara'], 5-10 OH, Crown Point, Michio Chicago

Part of the group in "the region", Elle was the primary attacker for state top ten Crown Point this past fall. The Bulldogs, and Michio train players who can do everything, and Elle is no exception. She's a six-rotation, primary-passing attacker that can put balls away from anywhere.

[player_tooltip player_id='260994' first='Calista' last='Foster'], 5-9 OH, Benton Central, Boiler Juniors

Part of the group that has won multiple AAU open-level championships, Calista is another primary-passing outside that uses her high volleyball IQ to score points for her squad. BC should be stacked again this coming fall, what with all of those "ball-control-first" kids getting training.

[player_tooltip player_id='226809' first='MaryKate' last='Scheumann'], 5-9 OH, Bellmont, [program_tooltip program_id='430155' first='Team' last='Pineapple']

Another cut from the same cloth as Miss Foster above, MaryKate knows nothing but top five play in the state and was consistently showing out in the first half of this club season. She also plays bigger than her 5-9 frame leads us to believe.

[player_tooltip player_id='226808' first='Addison' last='Jones'], 5-11 OH, Barr-Reeve, Union

A Jill-of-all-trades, Addison's size helps her play any position and attack any tempo ball all along the net. She's a big reason why B-R is so successful, and is getting that ball-control training from Union. I would not be surprised if she ended up adding to her skill set by playing either pin all the way around by the time she's a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id='300205' first='Shae' last='Bailey'], 5-7 OH, Tecumseh, Metro

Tecumseh is FILLED with female athletes who can play multiple sports and just happens to be adept at volleyball. Her jumping ability and speed more than make up for her size, which at first glance might be a hindrance to her development. For the record: it's not.
