Boiler Juniors 151E Gold, PP1, Court 65 at 1400
This particular roster has absolutely dominated the competition at all levels in both USAV and AAU/JVA over the past few years. The MVP of the ’22 AAU Nationals, Reese Resmer Reese Resmer 6'0" | MB Noblesville | 2026 State IN (’26, 6-0 MB, jersey #13) is a high-flying, no-doubt recruit that owns both the defensive and offensive parts of the game. You must account for her at all times for her athleticism alone. Helping Reese terminate at such a high level is setter Lexi Shondell Lexi Shondell 5'8" | S McCutcheon | 2026 State IN (’26, 5-7 S, jersey #15). Yes, THAT Shondell family. High hands, fast feet, and the ability to set every hitter in system regardless of where the ball is passed is what makes this team better. Without Lexi, I’m not sure they win as much as they have in the past couple of years.
Team Pineapple 15 BlackLJ, PP2, Court 66 at 1500
Same court, different team. Led by Olympian Lloy Ball, this squad uses skill, high volleyball IQs and all-around greatness to compete on a match-in, match-out level. They also have their own middle/setter tandem, starting with Addi Shippy Addi Shippy 5'10" | MB Carroll | 2026 State IN (’26, 5-11 MB, jersey # 19). Length is not an issue for this young lady, as she uses her length and strength to go over around and through opposing blocks. I like Sophia Gisslen Sophia Gisslen 5'9" | S Carroll | 2026 State IN (’26, 5-9 S, jersey #6) at the setting position for this squad. She always seems to know whom to set at what time and in what situation, and makes every ball better for her attackers. She plays well beyond her years in maturity, too.
Team Indiana Elite 15.1, PP2, Court 66 at 1500
Same court, same match time. TI’s top 15s team has size to burn, starting with Elli Strecker (’26, 6-3 MB, jersey #3). You can’t teach height, and it helps that Elli moves better than most her size in any graduating class. Add to the fact that she’s already attacking at such a high jump touch, and Elli is ready for the big time. Maddie Herman Maddie Herman 6'0" | MB Zionsville | 2026 State IN (’26, 5-11 MB, jersey #28) is a smaller version of Elli, and might project to an M2 at a college in the fall of ’26 near you. She’s excellent with her angles in front of the setter and blocks better than most in this class at any height.
Summit 15 Blue Elite, P5, Court 48 at 1500
Not in a power pool, but highly skilled nonetheless, Summit comes from the Fort Wayne area, and has their own setter-big kid combo. Sienna Fry Sienna Fry 6'1" | RS Ottawa-Glandforf | 2026 State OH (’26, 6-1 RS, jersey #1) is a lefty banger that is already attacking at ten feet and can terminate from both the back and the front rows. Her size is intimidating for any outside attacker coming her way. Keira Dommer Keira Dommer 5'8" | S Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran | 2026 State IN (’26, 5-9 S, jersey #3) runs the 5-1 offense at a high level, and should be a nice addition for any school taking a setter that looks undersized, but certainly doesn’t play like it.
