Prior to this weekend's Motor City Madness, PrepDig Michigan put on another showcase at the UWM Sports Complex on Friday night.

Prospects from the classes of 2024, 2025 and 2026 were on hand to display their skills in front of a number of college coaches.

While PrepDig Michigan will have plenty of coverage of all the prospects in the days to come, there were a few that really caught my eye on Friday night.

2024

[player_tooltip player_id='261164' first='Jenna' last='Flick']

[player_tooltip player_id='261164' first='Jenna' last='Flick'], DS/L Traverse City West/NorthShore: Flick was a patient and calm defender that didn't overreact to what was happening around her. She was confident in her skills and that she could get to her spot to make a play, which she usually did. Flick also displayed a well-rounded game, making some nice back-row swings, along with challenging serves.

Kayla Mulder, OH Whitehall/MVA: Mulder is a hitter that found her groove during the middle of the showcase and was turning out some of the best attacks of the night. Listed at 5'9”, Mulder plays a lot longer than that. She shows a lot of quickness, allowing her to transition from defense to offense quickly. Her power shots were eye-popping.

[player_tooltip player_id='219684' first='Kora' last='Nicolanti'], OH Bloomfield Hills/Unified: A previous standout from our showcases, Nicolanti continues to get better and be a player that can impact the game in any phase. Consistency best defines her game, and that goes for her hitting, passing, blocking and serving. She's a positive player with a high court IQ.

[player_tooltip player_id='153664' first='Jackie' last='Scheiber'], RS Riverview/Michigan Elite: The 6-foot Scheiber was a real force at the net, both offensively and defensively. Her blocking was tough for her peers to deal with, as she stuffed a lot of powerful swings. Offensively, Scheiber tapped into her aggressiveness as the showcase went on and proved she could dial up a fastball with the best of them.

2025

[player_tooltip player_id='384508' first='Hanna' last='Pardon'], OH Brandon/Unified: Pardon was an early tone-setter, as she was delivering some fierce attacks from the start of the showcase. She displayed the ability to dial up her swing to another gear and really power through blockers. As the showcase went on, Pardon maintained that same swing speed and consistently put away points.

[player_tooltip player_id='261176' first='Kendall' last='Williams']

[player_tooltip player_id='261176' first='Kendall' last='Williams'], MH Grand Blanc/Michigan Elite: Williams stands 6'0” and seems to play even longer. She's got a good spring in her jump, which allows her to attack the ball at a sharp angle that is nearly impossible to dig out. Williams showed a lot of quickness along the net, which allowed her to put up powerful swing after powerful swing.

Carley Zibell, RS Lake Orion/High Performance: Zibell was a player that read her ever-changing setters well and knew where she needed to place the ball. She showed consistent power in her attacks, but also played aggressive angles that were difficult to defend.

2026

Isabella Allen, DS/L Henry Ford II/Legacy: Allen was easy to spot on the court as she was able to cover a lot of ground and used her quickness to make some impressive defensive plays. She also displayed a powerful serve and was a vocal leader throughout the showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='226895' first='Jillian' last='Ferrill'], S Lake Fenton/High Performance: Though listed as a setter, Ferrill was as complete a player as you would find at the showcase. The 6-footer excelled as a setter, hitter, defender and blocker. She's got all the athleticism and size you could want in a volleyball prospect and is improving with each showcase she appears in.

[player_tooltip player_id='226904' first='Emma' last='Keeping']

[player_tooltip player_id='226904' first='Emma' last='Keeping'], S Imlay City/Michigan Elite: Another long and athletic setter, the 5'10” Keeping looked very comfortable and confident throughout the showcase. Her sets were consistently on point and had great touch that allowed the hitters to really drive the ball with velocity.

[player_tooltip player_id='227707' first='Gracelynn' last='Olson'], S Fruitport/FaR Out: Olson played with a lot of focus and determination. Her eyes were locked in any time she stepped on the floor and she knew she could make difficult sets that others couldn't. Her touch on the ball was a little different than other setters and she had a good read on the blockers and defense during 6-on-6 drills.
