Each time we update we hope we get more and more information in the process. When we gather this information and players catch our eye they have a tendency to get a bump in the rankings. So, let’s continue with some more of our Stock Risers.
Dietz has a VIOLENT armswing. If you make an overpass you may just want to find your helmet. She has a really high contact point both offensively and defensively. Dietz hits sharp angles and I see she has been working on some finesse shots and tip placement to add to her arsenal. She has a great nose for the ball as a blocker
Highlights
Fjerstad is a solid and consistent first contact. She has a deep flat floating serve that gives passers trouble. But, most importantly is when she takes her aggressive approach she can fly! She gets her arm up and ready early and then you can’t even see her swing after that because it is so fast.
Leaf not only has the height but she has a wingspan and let’s her attack well above most blockers. She definitely uses this to her advantage on both offense and defense. Leaf uses a crafty tip around the block but she can also power the ball to the deep corners for a big point.
Highlights
WOW! This lefty can pound the ball! She is so smooth in her transition and her approach is really unassuming but then she just explodes out of it. Klein does a great job of timing her attack and contacting on top of the ball and working around the block to crush the line or bury the ball in the deep corners.
Coleman is solid serve receive passer and she is really smooth and confident in transition. She can also take a really big approach and use the block to score at will. Coleman reads on the defensive side and gets her hips under the ball for an easy first contact.
