2025 Ranking Update: Middle Hitters to Watch

is an intimidating force at the net.  She takes care of anything that approaches her airspace.  Mattes shoots her hands over the net to seal and actively working the slide is a work horse in the middle and she is consistently making sure she is available to attack even when the play is getting hinky.  She works hard to close the block and protects the net.  Kelzenberg has good reactions and can play defense after serving or take the short seerve before transitioning to take a big is a lefty and normally you would expect to see her on the right side which she does play sometimes but she just seems a little more comfortable in the middle.  She can speed up her armswing to expose a block that is late or she can slice to either angle.  Adler has a long wingspan and can reach just about the ability to be pretty laterally quick
