Ensign flashed her buttery smooth hands and excellent location during the Showcase and the tournament for her Dakine squad. The Curtis High School sophomore has always had an excellent location, she has increased her ability to stretch the court pin to pin with a faster tempo ball. She was willing to find her middles even when a pass took her off the net and ran the “3” in the seam to her attackers effectively. The skilled lefty can swing on a tight set, and it’s usually a terminal ball when she does.
Akolzin had an outstanding showcase, playing gritty defense and hustling all over the gym with a smile on her face. She celebrates hard for her teammate’s success and does an outstanding job reading a defense quickly to find a good matchup for her attackers. Her well-located float serve dances across the net out of Akolzin’s hand, and gives Dakine opponents fits.

Zweifelhofer has a long and athletic frame, and she is quick off the floor or running down an errant pass. All the athleticism and height she has makes her an excellent dual threat as a setter and an opposite, at the high school level Mount Si will explore using her in both roles. Zweifelhofer showed deceptive and effective dumps at the showcase, and the speed to run under the ball that was off target in serve receive. As a player, she has a high ceiling and will continue to develop with excellent coaching at NPJ and Mount Si.
The West Salem High School sophomore is athletic and runs a high-tempo offense. Her NPJ Salem National team took home 11th place in the 16 Open, and Stanley showed confidence running the team during the tournament and meshing with new players at the Showcase. She can challenge at the net when running a 5-1, skills her experience as an opposite have honed to a high level. Stanley is competitive and a positive communicator with her teammates, great attributes for a prospect at the setter position.

Madison Evans | Bingham High (UT) | Club V 16 Ren | 2025
The 5’11” Evans had an excellent Showcase, her ability to read the court and get her feet to the ball was impressive. She was a willing blocker and has the strength to push the ball to the pin or effortlessly flick it back for an accurate set on the slide. She led the Club V 16 Ren Matt team to a 20th-place finish in the extremely tough 16 Open Division. Her length provided a nice high contact point and set for her middles that were tough to stop in system.
