They don't call it Motor City Madness for nothing!

This weekend didn't pull any punches when it came to the madness that occurred in the gym! Some of the top talent around Michigan and across the boarder were on tap for this weekend's showcase. These players brought the heat!

Here are some of the showcase's top middles!

[player_tooltip player_id='459245' first='Kate' last='Schneider'] - L'Anse Creuse/Crank It

One of the most explosive players in the gym on Friday, Schneider is a hidden gem in the 2025 class. She has a wide array of shots that always come with serious heat. She's definitely left her mark this weekend after an eye popping showcase and a great performance throughout the tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='261176' first='Kendall' last='Williams'] - Grand Blanc/Michigan Elite

Long and lengthy in the middle, Williams has been developing quite nicely this club season with Michigan Elite. I got to see bits and pieces of her throughout the fall and after seeing her on Friday, I am impressed! She has a nice high contact point that makes defending her so difficult to do.

[player_tooltip player_id='261198' first='Monique' last='Diehl'] - Grass Lake/Michigan Elite

What made this middle so hard to defend was her knack of hitting the deep shots. While Diehl can bring down the hammer and bounce a ball or two, her bread and butter is hitting the back five feet of the court which can come in clutch during the tough moments.

[player_tooltip player_id='346405' first='Maezi' last='Snyder'] - McCutcheon/Boiler Jr

One of the tallest players across the field at the showcase, Snyder knows how to use her length to her advantage. With a nice and high contact point, she can throw the ball just about anywhere on the court with some great pace.

[player_tooltip player_id='487143' first='Emma' last='Underwood'] - Kalamazoo Christian/USA Michigan

We had quite a few young middles at the Motor City Showcase. Underwood is one of those young and raw talents that showed a lot of upside to her game on Friday. She moves well along the net and makes some great plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='261135' first='Clare' last='Beazley'] - Saline/HVVC

Compared to her other counterparts, don't let her size fool you, Beazley can get up! I last saw this middle at the Michigan Top 250 in December. From then to now, she's a whole new player. While her explosive nature remains, Beazley is showing a lot better IQ in her game which can make her quite deadly.
