The outside hitter group was no exception. She performs all over the court. I could have categorized her as a middle, but I would simply call her a "multi-purpose hitter" - RS, OH, M. Passmore plays bigger than her height because of a strong vertical leap with hang time. She can swing it and reads the defense well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='168160' first='Gabby' last='Lombardi'], Six Pack 17U -</strong> Lombardi is one of the stabilizing presences on a loaded Six Pack 17 outfit. Her best asset might be versatility. She's developed as a hitter after honing her skills setting and working in the back row earlier in her prep career. She can help out wherever her team needs her, and that's incredibly valuable. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='168170' first='Carlie' last='Willis'], CIA 17U -</strong> The St. Cloud State commitment stands out on a team that's qualified for Nationals American. It will be interesting to see where she ends up positionally on the next level. She swings it really well from the outside but she's also dangerous in the middle. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='224152' first='Xada' last='Johnson'], CIA 17U -</strong> You're probably sensing I liked what I saw from this squad with its numerous players featured in these roundups. Johnson brings the heat from the right side but she can help out elsewhere. A strong vertical with good timing allows for solid defense at the net.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='215389' first='Sydney' last='Maue'], Adrenaline 16U -</strong> The left-hander does a lot of her damage from the right side but that swing also works elsewhere. Her power is aided by getting up high and hanging in the air until the right time. She shows good timing on defense and moves well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='215742' first='Carly' last='Wazac'], Six Pack 15U -</strong> The Cedar Rapids Prairie Class of '25 right side continues getting better with time. She stands out for her leaping ability, timing and hammer she swings from the right side. She is advanced in her feel for the game and skill set. She impresses with her powerful swing and athleticism.
