The PSR Regional tournament also serves as the bid tournament for the region, so a top finish was critical for the teams chasing qualification for GJNC in Chicago this summer. Here are several of the 2026 pins that performed at a high level for their teams.
One of the great things, among many, about Connor is that she is in no way a finished product. Long and lean at 6’1, she will continue to get stronger and increase the different shots in her toolbox. She already is unafraid to hammer the line and runs a quick tempo attack when Dakine is firing on all cylinders. Connor is a willing and eager defender, her beach experience is evident in how comfortable she is in a variety of defensive situations. All the tools are in place for Connor to have a huge sophomore season and be one of the top-ranked pins in Washington for 2026.
Mars is typically bringing the heat from the right side but she has the versatility and athleticism to take quality swings as an outside. The 5’10 Timberline stand out featured a soft tip she likes to drop over the top of the block at Regionals, but she showed the control to push that same tip to the back corner or slam it in between the block. The power tip is a recent development in junior volleyball, and Mars has a good one. Oly Reign 16 found her for quality swings during the tournament, including seven on a variety of shots against PJVBC 15 National. She has the needed length and spring to get on top of the ball and drive it down in front of the back-row defenders, Mars is a fun player to watch work!
Highlights
Lee flashed a great all-around game, check out her highlights defensively below, an excellent representation of all the plays she makes for her Sudden Impact Typhoon team. When she is done digging a swing in the back row, she makes herself available to attack from the pipe and is willing to attack the corners rather than just pound a ball straight down the middle. The Liberty High freshman is one of many options SIVBC has along the front line, Lee has a high contact point and a powerful arm.
Sadler is a versatile player from Puyallup High School who does the majority of her work playing the right side for PJVBC 15 National. That versatility allows her to come straight down the middle on a “2” or as an outside. The 6-2 offense that PJVBC 15 runs find excellent matchups for Sadler and the rest of the attackers. Sadler and setter Kathryn Harris Kathryn Harris 5’6″ | S Curtis | 2027 State WA had an awesome connection working, Sadler hammered some back sets from the right that Harris delivered on point.

The Sehome freshman is physically strong, a trait that carries over to the track where she has posted excellent numbers competing in the high jump, 4×100 relay, and more this spring. Niewiandomski moves around the court like a multi-sport athlete and has the vertical, strong block and fast arm that are ideal in an outside hitter. She is very comfortable playing the ball overhand, either in serve receive or on a hard swing. Niewiandomski looks more and more comfortable as the season passes by, she should have a breakout year for Sehome this fall.
