Harris was a defensive star in the final, which is no surprise for anyone who has seen the Curtis star play. The Dallas Skyline right sides ripped huge swings to the angle, looking for kills, and Harris denied them multiple times with stabbing digs and ups that kept Dakine on the attack. Harris will score and be aggressive attacking on the second contact, even as a back-row setter. She will push balls deep to the corner, send over a flat, fast dump, and fire a second ball attack hard at a sharp angle, looking for a point.

The top-ranked setter in Washington’s 2027 class was terrific at the Expo. Coming off of a state title with Curtis, Harris played with confidence and command, displaying her ability to improve the players around her. She made dynamic sets, read opposing attackers to make defensive plays, and is an outstanding offensive force from the setter spot or coming off the right side.

The Curtis prospect plays with an advanced feel and the maturity of a seasoned veteran. Harris makes all the little plays to better the ball and has the confidence to make a big-time set with a match on the line, or take the big swing to end a set of that is what her team needs. She played a big role as a freshman for an excellent Curtis last year and will be in the mix again as a sophomore.

The Curtis standout is the #1 setter in the current Prep Dig Washington 2027 rankings. Harris is an all around, excellent volleyball player- she defends, attacks, serves and sets with skill and smarts. Watching her play, the easy, athletic movement and ability to make winning plays jumps out. Harris will lead a Puyallup Juniors 16 National team seeded #1 in the 16 Open Division at Emerald City.

Harris needs to be discussed as a top player in the 2027 class. The setter is doing work for Curtis, a state title contender in the 4A class, playing tremendous defense and holding her own in battles against teams like Puyallup, Olympia, Lake Stevens, and Lynden. Curtis has been a bit banged up and has had to rely on their depth and toughness to work through some difficult early-season matches. Harris has great aggression and energy, she is a fierce competitor who wants to win.
