The 2023 club season has seen a lot of strong performances in the state.

When it comes to the Class of 2024, it's been a big opportunity for many to shine and really draw attention for a potential college career.

Here's a look at some 2024 talents that have worked hard to raise their game this club season.

Gabby Bouzide, OPP High Performance Nike 17-1

Bouzide missed last club season due to injury, so she was really driven to make this year count. She moved from the middle to the right side and has really found a home in the switch. Her focus and attention to detail has led her to making the transition look smooth. Her striking has taken on a lot of new dynamics, and her passing and serving game is seeing strides each week.

[player_tooltip player_id='473948' first='Sarah' last='Curtis'], L/DS Legacy 17-2 ADIDAS

Curtis moved from an outside hitter position to wearing the libero jersey and has looked very natural and comfortable in the switch. She's been a consistent passer and top-level defender throughout her time in the back row. She's showing her full range of skills and has elevated her game in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='153671' first='Molly' last='Edmunds'], S Michigan Elite 17 Elite

[player_tooltip player_id='153671' first='Molly' last='Edmunds']

Edmunds has been very steady at running a smooth offense for 17 Elite. But, she's also got the ability to impact the game with her attacks, her defensive instincts and her serve. Edmunds has a lot of upside as an all-around talent.

Kalynn Manyen, MB FaR Out 17 Gold

As just a 5'9” middle, it can be tough to compete with the excellent size and athleticism that comes with club season, but Manyen has made up for that challenge with her persistence and quickness. Manyen gets herself into position well to stay ahead of the blockers and she's also worked on her attack angles to avoid the big hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='110315' first='Avry' last='Nelson'], MB Legacy 17-1 ADIDAS

Nelson stands 6'3”, so she's always had the gift of size, but she's been really putting in the work and extra reps to become more than just size. The Northville product and Eckerd commit has stepped up in a big way to prove she's a M1 and one of the strongest middles in the Class of 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='500664' first='Ashley' last='Palmer'], S FaR Out 17 Gold

Palmer has put in a lot of time working on her location and technique. She's also been putting in focus to adding muscle to become a physically stronger player. That focus and extra time and led to her seeing a real step up in her play this club season. Palmer is a crafty setter that mixes up the offense and keeps defenses guessing.

[player_tooltip player_id='110318' first='Carley' last='Piercefield'], L/DS FaR Out 18 Black

A Western Michigan commit, Piercefield has already established herself as one of the top defenders in this class in the state. This club season, stepping up to the 18s level has really just confirmed all that. Piercefield has great first contact and it's allowed 18 Black to be very consistent throughout the season. With being undersized as a team, being technically sound is key for 18 Black and Piercefield allows that to happen.

[player_tooltip player_id='110332' first='Avery' last='Weslow'], OH/DS FaR Out 18 Black

Weslow is already an established power hitter in the Class of 2024, but this club season has been a chance for her to showcase her defensive talents in a DS role with 18 Black. Stepping up to playing against older competition has brought out the best in her and its also allowed her to tap into her service ability. Weslow can get back on the bike as a power hitter whenever she needs, but this added defensive play really has complimented her game.
