The gigantic event held at the George R. Brown Convention Center will feature over 500 teams in its 11 divisions and club teams from all over the Lone Star State will be on the court in what’s expected to be one of the top events of the season.
Some of the top talent in Texas club volleyball will be in action over the weekend in Houston and we’re taking the week leading to it to feature some of those players. Here are some outside hitters who can be real difference-makers for their teams:
Expect Alamo 15 Premier to have one of the strong outside hitter duos in the 15 Bid division with Tuiasosopo pairing with Paisley Pavliska Paisley Pavliska 5’10” | OH Floresville | 2026 State TX at the pin. She’s very long and athletic and gets off the floor really well every time she goes up to swing. One of the main aspects of Tuiasosopo’s offense, however, is her awareness, as unlike many high-flying pin hitters of her age, who wouldn’t miss a chance of hitting the ball straight down to get a bounce, she almost always uses her high contact point to target the end line, sending the ball out of reach for defenders. She can also hit from the middle and has great success with it, adding another offensive alternative to her team’s arsenal.
Division 15 Bid contenders HJV 15 Elite have one of the strongest groups of outside hitters in the event and, although they are all very skilled in different areas of the game, Koss is probably the one that best puts everything together. Her size and power make of her one of the team’s top offensive players and, regardless if she’s at the net or in the back, she’s probably the one getting set when the game is on the line. Koss makes contact with the ball at a very high point and holds nothing back in her swings, but it’s her excellent decision-making that makes of her such a strong offensive player. Also very technical, she’s a defensive stud as well, displayed great consistency with her passing and playing good defense.

You most likely won’t notice it, but despite probably being one of the top players in the 16 Bid division with her Texas Fury 16 Legacy team, Udoye will be playing one age group up. Extremely physical and athletic, she often dominates among older players and is one of the most promising players in the state of Texas in the class of 2026. Her offense is an absolute joy to watch as, besides being extremely powerful and capable of scoring from anywhere on the court, she’s wise beyond her years with her shot selection, which helps her get into an offensive rhythm. Udoye is also a solid blocker and has very good ball control, also getting the job done on the backcourt.

Beauchamp should be one of the most difficult hitters to play against in the 17 Bid Division as she gets on the court with AP 17 Adidas. A new face with the club, coming from Roots, she’s excellent at finding ways to get the ball through the block, hitting a quick set at the pin and always looking for gaps and sharp angles. Her offensive game became even more productive over the last year, as she became more athletic and explosive, also adding a little more power to her swings. Beauchamp is a very technical player in general and also makes a big impact in serve-receive and when playing defense.
One of the most lethal scorers in the entire state, Tribe will be the go-to offensive player for her team Texstar 17 in the 17 Bid division. Very long and powerful, she can score from anywhere on the court and is more than used to carrying her team’s offense, be it at the club or the high school level. Tribe is nearly unstoppable when in system because of her incredible length and powerful arm swing and she’s also a player that, despite the high volume of actions, makes very few mistakes. Tribe is a solid defensive player too and has grown into more of a leadership role lately, communicating more and pushing her teammates.
