With our Nebraska 2025 rankings taking on dozens of new additions this week, we’ve already covered Part 1 and Part 2 of our discussion on these fresh faces. Now, before we delve into some stock risers and other storylines, let’s finish the job.
Here’s Part 3.
Our first entry in Part 3 comes from a powerhouse high school program and a fast-rising club team at the 16s level. Haight tallied well over 100 kills with Sutton last fall and has brought similar production to the South Central NE 16 Black lineup. As we continue to examine some small-town stock risers from Nebraska’s 2025 class, this right-side attacker is one to keep an eye on.
Nebraska Juniors gets into the conversation with a setter who took full advantage of her time in the spotlight. Johnson’s positional flexibility as a setter and a frontcourt opposite has given 16 Black plenty of options throughout the 2023 season. Moreover, we’ve been impressed with Johnson’s recent strides as a right-back defender who is tough for opposing attackers to break.

It’s just another one on the board for Nebraska Pride! Johnson’s presence on this feature allows us to give our first shoutout to BRLD, a high school program making some steady strides in the small-town scene. Having this versatile setter in the mix will certainly help that cause, as Johnson compiled plenty of highlight moments for Black 16s this spring.
Yesterday’s feature had some strong representation from Nebraska Elite 16 Vision, and nothing is changing today. You could argue that the middle blocker has emerged as a strength of the team with players like Kiichler locking down the net. The Norfolk prep star has surely earned her spot in the rankings, and we’re anticipating an uptick in production as Kiichler becomes an upperclassman.
Adding Kubesa to the lineup has offered an instant boost in energy, intensity, and hard-hitting moments for River City Jrs 16 Navy. It’s hard to tether her to a single position in our database, as Kubesa has proven to be an impact player at both opposite and in the middle. Either way, it’ll be worth keeping an eye on this athlete’s career progression in the coming months and years.
We’ve discussed the strong defensive unit for Nebraska Elite 16 Vision this week, but that group wouldn’t be complete without Liebentritt. This adaptable defensive specialist has demonstrated her prowess at any zone along the end line and can take over the libero spot. And, if 16 Vision needs a new look in the frontcourt, Liebentritt can even make some moves there, too.
Premier Nebraska has flexed some extraordinary depth in its 2025 class, so we’re not done making additions from that gym. McMains emerges from out latest update, and she’s another one of those classic setter-opposites who thrives on the right pin no matter what her role is. That’s reason enough to stand alongside many of her Premier peers who in our 2025 list.
Shuput has been mentioned in one of our prior features on the 2025 class, and now she breaks through with a spot on our watch list. Her command of the setter spot was a huge development as ENVY embarked on its inaugural season on the Nebraska club scene. With this valuable experience gained, Shuput will now focus on maintaining her upward trajectory on the prep side.

Sliva’s addition to the 2025 rankings was inevitable. She competes on the high school side for a BDS, a program that has had a seemingly permanent place in the state championships lately. When you round up some of Nebraska’s best pure opposites from outside the big cities, Sliva deserves to be in that discussion. Her 2023 campaign with South Central NE 16 Black offers further testament of that.
Highlights
While we’re discussing high-profile high school programs, why not bring Overton into the mix? Svarvari has a chance to make a splash with an Eagles team that finished runner-up last year and brings a lot back. South Central was surely glad to have this libero’s services during its successful 2023 season.
We’re rounding out these features by staying with Nebraska Pride. What a run for this club. Vaughn hails from Holdrege, another high school team that is getting its first mention on this series. Keep an eye on this dynamic setter as she dishes out another smooth offense this fall, similar to her forays with Black 16s.
