Kiichler has earned previous shoutouts here, and that turned into a rankings boost. It’s easy to get lost in the sea of talented Class A attackers, but we shouldn’t lose sight of Kiichler’s consistent production with Norfolk. She neared 300 total kills in her junior year, which was a dramatic leap from having under one kill per set the year before. If this trend continues, it’s hard to predict what Kiichler could accomplish next fall. A club season with Nebraska Elite is on the horizon first.

Kiichler is a volume scorer. That might be why Norfolk Senior High let her play on the pin for much of the 2023 season, and the junior rose to the occasion with over three kills per set for the Panthers. However, Kiichler also brings an extensive middle blocker background with Nebraska Elite and could resume that role in 2024. She is especially proficient on the ‘gap’ set away from the setter, so keep an eye on the ways Nebraska Elite uses Kiichler in the upcoming season.

Kiichler has clearly found a new gear in 2023. She showed flashes of potential as a sophomore, but now she is a true leader for Norfolk with almost three-and-a-half kills per set on her ledger. The Panthers are also not afraid to run Kiichler across the back row, where she adds over two digs per set for good measure. Class A gems are everywhere.
