Standout 2024 Pin Hitters at CEVA Regionals (Pt. 2)

Taking place at the Portland Expo center across two days, hundreds of teams took the court to secure their final standing for the season. We were able to see some of the best athletes from Oregon and SW Washington compete and took note of the stellar performances we saw. Standing at 5'11” with an impressive vertical and press over the net, Konzelman shut down a lot of hitters during the tournament, helping lead her team to its 7th place finish. McKibben is a versatile attacker, whose athleticism and skill make her terminal from both pins. The fast offensive tempo that Millspaugh runs keeps opponents on their toes. On defense, Osborn played with discipline and consistency, picking up tough balls from the middle back and keeping points in play. Hitting from the outside on her Athena 17-1 team, Paz used her explosive attack and ability to hit to any place on the court, including a deadly shot down the line, to score consistently for her team. In the back row, Paz showed her steadiness and skill on serve receive, rarely (if ever) letting serves get past her. As a leftie, Regalado is an offensive weapon from the right side, hitting back 1s effortlessly and using her quick arm to put the ball away. Her offensive skills shone during the tournament. Walker's explosive approach and quick snap on the ball allows her to put the ball down consistently. With a super quick arm swing, an impressive reach, and strong court vision, Wilson is able to hit to any place and opening on the court.
