Below are a few athletes and what they can do:

[player_tooltip player_id='480672' first='Alizae' last='Leilua'] | 5'6" | 2026 | OPP/L/DS | APEX1
Being part of the offense as a server is one standout ability that [player_tooltip player_id='480672' first='Alizae' last='Leilua'] can do. Her short serve will immediately score a point or put many people in an even smaller area than the court already is. She is a hard worker that bends at her knee a lot on defense. This movement opens Leilua to get very low to dig almost any hit, especially with her hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='487956' first='Celeste' last='Paez'] | 5'11" | 2025 | OH | Empower of Eastvale
An outside hitter that hits out of the three or four zone on the net, like [player_tooltip player_id='487956' first='Celeste' last='Paez'], is one to watch. If a player can do this, then they have excellent natural or learned footwork. Additionally, Paez has done extra, and she developed the skill to turn the ball with her back, hip, shoulder, and wrist. As a result, she hits the ball sharp, cross court, and line.

[player_tooltip player_id='706387' first='Paityn' last='Snow'] | 5'9" | 2025 | OH |
Enter [player_tooltip player_id='706387' first='Paityn' last='Snow'] to the game, whether starting or through subbing, and expect points from the endline. She has a jump serve that, by choice, either floats or spins. This endline madness erupts for more when Snow hits sets from her setter. Being comfortable near either endline seems normal for her. Additionally, look for her to be comfortable sideline to sideline with a sharp cross court hit.

Riley Imamura | 5'9" | 2025 | OH | Sand City
Riley Imamura hits line in two different ways. She rotates her hips that ends with her shoulders square to the net or she keeps her shoulders facing the opposite sideline and simply brings her arm through. This is all made possible with her effort to get herself wide past the left sideline. Imamura reaches high and consistently scores a point or continues a rally.

Maddy Kirmer | 6'2" | 2025 | MB | Surfside
There are many opportunities for offensive creativity with Maddy Kirmer rotating through the front line. She approaches fast starting from either sideline. After that versatile approach footwork, she finds the last part of the court very well. When Kirmer is blocking, her teammates can regularly expect her next to them. Additionally, she keeps her hands low across the net even with all that effort to close a block.

Natasha Abbaszadeh | 5'5" | 2025 | OH/OPP/DS | Red Rock
Going away from the net and and getting back to the net is second nature for Natasha Abbaszadeh. This regular and consistent footwork gets her to find a nook in the court or a cranny in the block. If a team thinks they can catch her on a off time, they should think again. Abbaszadeh will be ready and hit an overpass. When she is in control of a skill, she chooses to jump topspin serve.
