<p>On June 28th, the Girls Junior National Championship begins for the 14s-17s in Chicago, Illinois ending on July 6th. The event is being held at the McCormick Place Convention Center. Clubs continue to practice and grind in hopes to bring home a medal and recognition. Three top clubs came together to get reps in before the 4 days of straight volleyball play. Coast, A4 Volley, and Rancho Valley showed up at the Coast facility in San Diego, California, and played against each other. It was great competition for the girls to see what they will be up against next week. The desire to get better does not stop. Watching these teams work together to improve their game and knowing they are all going after the same goal is the unselfish way volleyball should be played. <p>Coast 17 Rafael is currently ranked 9th in the SCVA Power Division. Coached by Rafael Asvolinsque, Erin Vicente, and Dmitriy Yurchenko, the team representative is Ozhan Bahrambeygui, and manager Justin Conde these players are a solid, well-rounded team. Setters Avery Basinger and left-hander [player_tooltip player_id='161290' first='Gabriella' last='Javier'] are leaders on the court. Playing back-row defense are liberos Matsa Shi and Samantha Kim. Protecting the middle are Isabella Barrios, Rafaela Alvizuri, and Angelina Allen. Bringing the boom are the pin hitters, both left-handed Samantha Grabb and Lily Stewart along with Katherine Wallbank, Keira Miles, Adina Dixon, and Saren Rogers. Coast 17 Rafael is ready to bring their "A" game to Chicago.</p>

These players play so well together. Setters Jolyna Salas and Alexis Richards will be leading their team. Protecting the middle are Kyra Miles and [player_tooltip player_id='538072' first='Savannah' last='Simpson']. Putting fire behind the ball are pin hitters [player_tooltip player_id='398333' first='Stella' last='Dillon'], [player_tooltip player_id='366848' first='Ava' last='Poinsett'], Jenny Li, Sara Dukes, Trinity Rye, [player_tooltip player_id='478922' first='Julia' last='Marinesi'], [player_tooltip player_id='391089' first='Madyson' last='McCarthy'] and [player_tooltip player_id='366837' first='Jocelyn' last='Hammerstrand'].
