Best Outsides at the Iowa Stock Up Showcase

<p>I love watching good hitters. They are the fire in a lot of the games and their determination and grit go a long way toward winning matches. There is no shortage of great outside hitters in Iowa. Minteer was really great at cleaning up messes on the court no matter if it is a bad set, she can hit it, a good block, she can go around it. She is a really good athlete and can jump, block, hit, and dig. She is an all-around kind of player. Very impressive.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='389064' first='Macy' last='Person']</h2>   <p>Person is a 5'9" outside hitter from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School's class of 2026. Person has very quick reflexes and great court awareness. I watched her get into position very quickly and she is very athletic. She digs up some of the best hits! She can cause trouble with her blocks. She can turn a horrible set into a smart dinky played ball that ends up a kill. (Rob Howe/PrepDig.com)</figcaption></figure>   <p>Pacha is a 5'11" outside hitter from Mid-Prairie High School's class of 2026. Pacha is a great outside hitter. As a freshman, she was 13th in kills in her conference. She has power and a great vertical. She can outmaneuver her opponents across the net. Kapayou has some power and speed to her hits. She makes it look effortless as she goes for the corners and hits just inside them. Kaur looks like she could go to the next level tomorrow. She has a great vertical, a great reach when blocking, and is so smart on the court. She sees everything. Bellinger climbs right up on the ball when it is set to her and slams it. She is very precise and has great range for where her target is located. She can put it down anywhere. She is very athletic and has good vision for where to put the ball. She is a smart athlete and handled out-of-system action very well.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='215754' first='Hailey' last='Asselin']</h2>   <p>Asselin is a 5'11" junior outside hitter from Pleasant Valley High School. Asselin is a hard hitter! She caught my attention for a while and normally I would see something wrong or a bad choice made, but I didn't see anything at all while watching this one. She has a great vertical and gets so high up on the ball that she can make it a very hard angle to dig up and really hard hit too. She is a defender's nightmare. She is a great server as well.</p>
