Hitters Who Slammed at the Dallas Freshman Showcase

<p>I love watching these young athletes come into their own and put on a show before starting their high school careers. They are amazing. It is difficult to give full coverage during an event so I wanted to write about the amazing hitters I saw today at the freshman showcase. She is a 6' 3" outside hitter from Pantego Christian Academy. She is so fast, aggressive, skilled, and a great hitter. I had so much fun watching her today and I am very interested to see the impact she will have during her high school season. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='413100' first='Grace' last='Schneekloth']</h2>   <p>Schneekloth is a 5' 10" outside hitter from Hebron High School and Excel volleyball club. She is very fast, displays massive athleticism, and has serious power behind her shots. She is a great athlete.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='433665' first='Ryan' last='Spencer']</h2>   <p>Spencer is a 5' 11" outside hitter from Imagine International of North Texas. She is very court aware so nothing sneaks by her. She is athletic enough to cover any dinks over the net and hits hard which will make her very valuable to her team next season. She is a very flexible athlete any team should want on the court. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='433667' first='Savannah' last='Sterna']</h2>   <p>Sterna is a 5' 10" outside hitter from Byron Nelson. I am pretty sure she can play anywhere on the court and showed that today at the showcase. She can just plain stuff a ball in the middle and she is great anywhere near the net. She is a very strong athlete.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='433623' first='Amia' last='Wigfall']</h2>   <p>Wigfall is a power hitter with a great vertical. She is a pleasure to watch and will only get better as time goes on. I look forward to seeing her in a couple more years to see how she develops as time passes. Great athlete.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='433628' first='Chloe' last='Flowers']</h2>   <p>Flowers is an outside hitter from Colleyville Heritage High School and Skyline volleyball club. She has a great vertical and is very smart on the court. She sees everything. She is ready for anything, hits like a laser, and can dig her own blocked balls. She is an impressive player that will only develop more as time passes. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='433643' first='Kylie' last='Love']</h2>   <p>Love is a right-side hitter from Bishop Lynch High School. Earlier today I was watching her pound her hits through the block as if it was nothing. She is an athlete with some serious power and skill.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='433672' first='Vanessa' last='Mudro']</h2>   <p>Mudro is an outside hitter from Keller High School and 1United volleyball club. She is a very versatile athlete who played in the middle today instead of only on the outside where she is probably more comfortable and very successful. She is a tough athlete, very fast, athletic, and can play anywhere on the court. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='433646' first='Lauren' last='Schwartz']</h2>   <p>Schwartz is a right-side hitter from the Hockaday School and Skyline volleyball club. She has great speed, quick reflexes, a great vertical, and great placement to her hits. She handles out-of-system balls with flair and is an awesome hitter. I look forward to what she can do for her high school team in the coming season. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='433624' first='Audree' last='Hughes']</h2>   <p>Hughes is a 6' outside hitter from Southlake Carroll and [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='[program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='[program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last='']' last='']' last=''] volleyball club. She is a powerful athlete and can cause some serious damage to an opposing team's defensive specialists. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='433636' first='Izabelle' last='Buchholz']</h2>   <p>Buchholz is a 6' right-side hitter from Emerson High School. She is long, has an extensive reach, and makes hitting look easy. She is a very graceful athlete and a powerful hitter.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='433661' first='Olivia' last='Herron']</h2>   <p>Herron is a 6' 2" outside hitter from Panther Creek High School and Excel volleyball club. She is a very strong hitter. I would not want to defend her. She is very powerful and can blast through most blocks. She has some serious power to her game. </p>
