Houston Stock Up/Freshman Showcase – 5 Players to Watch – Vol. 2

Jones is a potent offensive player, who unleashes every time she goes up at the net to swing, and also has a strong presence at the net with her blocking. Very calm on the ball, she was extremely reliable with her passing and defense every time I got to see her in action. Although her ball control is excellent, much of Tijerina's efficiency of the court comes from her strong mental skills as she reads the game very well and is always on great spots to make plays. She's very tall and athletic and her offense is the strongest part of her game. Watson gets off the floor really well, has very quick feet and can hit several different sets in the middle. She's not very teall, but jumps really well and is confident to go against any blockers that stand on her way. Marks was a big part of Texas Outlaws 16 Black in the last club season and will now play for the new MoCo Mavs club in the Spring area.
