Mighty Middles at the Indiana Stock Up Showcase

<p>There were so many great athletes at the Indiana Stock Up Showcase this past weekend. The middles were an especially strong group at this event. She is great anywhere in the front row. She was very impressive in the middle and can seriously jump, but was also great as a right-side hitter. She has a great vertical and a great swing. She is very athletic and can spring into position for a block or to knock a ball down for a kill.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='200659' first='Taylor' last='Welch']</h2>   <p>Welch is a 6' middle blocker from Westfield High School's class of 2024. She is a wall when blocking. She is a great blocker, has quick reflexes, and is very athletic. She is a very strong athlete. She has great hitting ability, quickness, and athleticism off the charts. She is a very powerful hitter and is a force on the court at all times. As an opponent, I would not lose sight of where she is on the court. She will either block you or hit at you, and neither one looks like fun. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='298600' first='Maddie' last='Herman']</h2>   <p>Herman is a 6' middle blocker from Zionsville Community High School's class of 2026. Her great vertical with the height she already has makes her on top of the ball when hitting. With that advantage, she can do whatever she wants with the ball and is very difficult to defend. She is academically fit as well as athletically fit.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='234797' first='Evelyn' last='Kipp']</h2>   <p>Kipp is a 6' middle hitter from George Washington High School's class of 2026. Kipp is an impressive and graceful athlete. She is very court aware and seems smart about the game. She is very athletic and makes hitting from the middle look easy. She is lethal in her grace though. She is another athlete who can put the ball where she wants to since she can jump so high and has such a long reach. She is an aggressive player and steamrolls her opponents with tough hits and hard blocks. She is a great jumper and will use any opportunity to take her opponent down. This is not the first time I have watched Sabo play. I also watched her last December at a Top 250 Expo in Indiana. She was impressive then as well. I do not like to call athletes sneaky but Sabo was everywhere at the net. She would dink balls left a little too long before being hit by her opponents, she would slap at anything close to the net, and she was great when set at the net. Turner has great hands and a great vertical leap. She is already so tall it is hard for the team at the net playing defense against her to stop what she is trying to do. She gets kill after kill and is very efficient. She blocks hitter after hitter and stops opponents from scoring. She is a double threat at the net.</p>
