One of the most impactful positions on any volleyball court is the setter. In an ideal world, they touch every ball when it comes onto your side of the net. They set the tempo, they feed your hitters, and they generate points by assisting every rally. Let's talk about the top setters at the Indiana Stock Up Showcase.

Barrett is a 5'8" setter from Terre Haute North High School's class of 2025. Barrett was impressive all morning. She has great range and distributes the ball well. She is fast and athletic and has no problem getting to the ball and setting it perfectly to a hitter. She communicates well and had a positive attitude throughout the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='373087' first='Madison' last='Brown']

Brown is a 5'9" setter from Noblesville High School's class of 2026. Brown was throwing and digging up balls all morning. Her team was doing very well during the games they were playing, in large part due to her setting abilities. She was impressive for her flexibility and range to set any of her hitters and to call out what she was doing so that her hitters could get themselves ready to get a kill.

[player_tooltip player_id='435484' first='Kyla' last='Coolman']

Coolman is a 5'10" setter from Penn High School's class of 2025. Coolman was very fun to watch at the showcase. She is very good, very fast, and very accurate. She is flexible and athletic and can put up a block or throw a kill too. Her serves are good as well. She is the total package.

[player_tooltip player_id='221480' first='Addison' last='Gehres']

Gehres is a 5'8" setter from West Lafayette Senior High School's class of 2026. Gehres caught my eye for her ability to look practiced at her job on the court. She knew what she was doing and did it very well. She passes the ball around to different hitters and has great range while doing so. She is athletic and very fast. She gets to the ball with no problem and communicates with her hitters well.

[player_tooltip player_id='216341' first='Keira' last='Dommer']

Dommer is a 5'8" setter from Concordia Lutheran High School's class of 2026. Dommer grabbed my attention while being very determined and set on getting to the ball and setting it perfectly to her hitters. She acts like she will never let you down on the court. She works hard to achieve her goals. She is consistent and looks like she is prepped to play and is always ready.

[player_tooltip player_id='398591' first='Addison' last='Martin']

Martin is a 5'6" setter from Jennings County High School's class of 2026. Martin is very good. She didn't look like she ever wanted to leave the court once she got started. She has great hands, great distribution, and great court awareness. She knew where all of the players on the other side of the net were before setting her hitters and gave them a good chance of success because she did.

[player_tooltip player_id='338319' first='Sarah' last='Neglia']

Neglia is a 5'3" setter from Carmel High School's class of 2026. Neglia is very athletic and spry. She is so fast she can get to any ball she needs to and still do a great job setting her hitter. She makes smart choices when she sets a hitter by putting the ball where needed for a kill. She spreads the ball around and is very consistent in the height of her sets so the hitters know where to go to get the ball. I know these all sound like small things but these things all add up to make a very good setter.
