We have been watching the 2025 class very closely throughout the entire club season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be moved up the rankings due to their individual performances.
Isabella Ocampo Isabella Ocampo 5'11" | OH Highland Park | 2025 State #146 Nation TX [2025] 5-10 Outside (HS: Highland Park/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Loyola Marymount)
Miss Ocampo has made a huge jump in the Rankings during this update. She went from being listed as the 32nd ranked prospect to now being listed as the 19th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays at Highland Park High School and for the nationally recognized Dallas Skyline club. I have watched this young lady play numerous times over the past few years and here is a refresher of what I just wrote about her in our last article, “The power in her right arm is something that lets me know she will be a stud for years to come. The scary part is that she is just now barely getting started. When you watch her play, you can see that she just gets the game on a very high level. Her volleyball IQ is high and coaches across the country are going to love that about her. She is a true six-rotation pin attacker who will excel at the high school level and the next level when she continues to progress. I call her lightning in a bottle because that is just how explosive she is at every aspect of the game. There are just some players that were born to play this wonderful game and when you watch Bella move on the court, you will see exactly that. Her stellar ball control comes from many reps in both indoor and outdoor volleyball.” Recently she was named to the Mexico U19 National Team and competed at a very high level at the World Championships. She also made her college choice and will be playing volleyball at Loyola Marymount University. Her star is definitely on the rise and we are very proud to have her in our rankings. Please help us congratulate her on earning this prestigious spot amongst Texas’ best players.
Sydnee Peterson Sydnee Peterson 5'10" | RS Byron Nelson | 2025 State TX [2025] 5-8 Outside (HS: Byron Nelson/Club: Texas Advantage Volleyball/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Miss Peterson has moved up in our rankings by proving herself on the court. Syd is now currently ranked as the 36th best overall player in the 2025 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She stars for Byron Nelson High School and also plays for the nationally recognized Texas Advantage Volleyball program. Miss Peterson stepped into a huge role this year during the club season and really showed the nation just how powerful she truly is. After showcasing a few years ago that she was super versatile and could play multiple positions on the court, TAV used her as their number one weapon on the left side this year and she showed out! While some players may crumble during big time moments, Syd proved that she would relish in those spotlight moments. She got bigger and stronger from her 15’s year to her 16’s year and it resulted in some amazing bombs against her opponents. We are very proud of her growth and think she has some enormous potential to keep getting better. Please help us congratulate her on moving up the State Rankings in this wonderful volleyball state.
Parker Duncan Parker Duncan 6'0" | OH Anderson | 2025 State TX [2025] 5-10 Outside (HS: Anderson/Club: Austin Juniors/Verbal: University of Arkansas)
Miss Duncan has moved up the rankings in this update. She is now currently ranked as the 39th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Anderson High School and also for the Austin Juniors Volleyball club. Her is a refresher of the last article I wrote about her, “I have watched this team and this young lady compete for a few years now and she is electric on the court. She can move well around the court when setting up for both defense and during defensive transition to her outside touch point. I love how athletic she is and how fast she gets off of the ground. Whichever coach gets to have her on the roster can utilize her strictly on the pins or bring her around to the middle for second tempo offensive options. She can score very well with both of those options. This young lady has a lightning quick arm swing that can truly bring the heat when needed. Her bounciness is something that most will notice because it really pops in her game. She uses those lower body fast-twitch muscles to push off defensively for attacks that are aimed for outside of her zone.” Every scout agreed that Parker deserved to move up in the rankings. She is one of the “go to” hitters on her club team and is a big reason why they received a medal at this year’s National Championships in Chicago this summer. Her offense was just on another level and she has every chance to continue to move up our prestigious list. Recently she committed to the University of Arkansas to play volleyball. We will be watching her very closely during the high school season because it could be a break out year for them. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in the top 39.
