The rest of the setter group is an assembly of quick feet, pinpoint accuracy and high volleyball IQ leaders on the court. Here are several of the 2026 setters that landed in our first ranking of this class.
The Bellevue Wolverine and Sudden Impact prospect has great size for the position and strong hands that she uses to push her sets pin to pin. Leapai and her Bellevue team will miss senior Brooke Huard’s production and leadership, Leapai has her own leadership qualities and should help fill that role on the court. She is more than willing to reverse the flow and will find hitters in good matchups from wherever she is playing the ball.
The sophomore from Gonzaga Prep and College Prep Academy developed into a strong dual setter/right side during the club season culminating in terrific tournaments at the Emerald City Classic and the USA All-Star Championships. Migliuri attacked as a right side, effectively scoring, providing a strong block, and transitioning seamlessly into her setter position. She will have an excellent chance to fill a similar role with Gonzaga Prep this fall as the Bullpups fight for a third straight trip to state.
Gonzales has great confidence on the court, she in an energy giver for her teammates- an awesome trait for any setter. The Lake Stevens sophomore served as the team captain for WVBA 15 Adidas, and will only get better training with the high powered Lake Stevens program his fall. She is definitely a player to keep an eye on during her second varsity season with the Vikings.

Nelson-Hawkins is high energy, with an intuitive feel for defense and being in the correct position as a setter. The Selah junior had an excellent season finding her attackers for CRU, and she will be a huge part of the Selah team as well. Nelson-Hawkins is a gamer who works hard and will do the tough work of running down the second ball and getting in the floor to help her team win.

The sophomore from Southridge High School has worked hard to improve her craft, and it showed this season with a tough Shockwave 15 squad. Shockwave was very competitive against high level teams, and we were able to watch Gant operate against Dakine 15 at PNQ. She is an attacker as well as a setter, managing to score and play great defense in the match. She had a great connection with her middles, and played with fire- Gant was a dynamic presence on the court.

Mystkowski set for a deep group of attackers this season and showed athleticism and creativity finding her hitters in good matchups. She moves her feet with precision and quickness to be in position to deliver a set with accurate location, and she was able to run a quick offense to her outsides. The Lakeside sophomore will team up with fellow Sudden Impact prospect Lauryn Coleman Lauryn Coleman 6’0″ | MB Lakeside | 2026 State WA as the Lions chase another State Championship.

Liljenquist is another setter who handles double duties as an attacker. WVBA 15 Molten used her athleticism effectively from either pin this season, and she used her length and quick feet as a setter as well. Liljenquist runs down passes that are off target and manages to put up a hittable set- a skill that allowed WVBA 15 attackers to put an effective swing on the ball.
