Gonzales has been outstanding, taking over as the Vikings’ full-time setter. The junior has over 680 assists on the season and is a force from the service line, leading the team in aces. Lake Stevens is as dangerous as any 4A team in the state; with their talent, teams don’t want to give the Vikings a chance to swing in a close match.

Gonzales looks like she is in line and ready to be a big part of Lake Steven’s school season. The junior had an excellent year for WVBA, and she plays an intense and winning style of volleyball. Gonzales is an acrobatic defender with a tremendous serve- and she can rip a kill when you need it! She slots in as the #31 ranked player in the class overall.

Gonzales is a setter who had the chops to jump in and handle serve receive at a high level. Her ability to pass, play defense and set a second ball when needed allowed Lake Stevens to keep feeding their talented outsides on the pin and in the pipe. She passed nails in opening round wins on day one, and looked strong defending and digging up balls to keep the offense rolling. Gonzales will look to step in as a setter for senior

Gonzales has great confidence on the court, she in an energy giver for her teammates- an awesome trait for any setter. The Lake Stevens sophomore served as the team captain for WVBA 15 Adidas, and will only get better training with the high powered Lake Stevens program his fall. She is definitely a player to keep an eye on during her second varsity season with the Vikings.

Gonzales is relied upon to run the show for the WVBA 15 Adidas team, and she has to make the decisions on when and where to find a group of excellent hitters. The 2026 Lake Stevens player does a great job of locating her sets and giving her attackers the right tempo to work with. Gonzales will stay quiet and neutral with her hands, not giving away her setting choices to the defense. She is versatile and physical enough to attack from the right side, her background playing on the beach has helped her be an excellent all around player.
