Kaytlin’s posted videos tell a story of their own which gives us a glimpse into her fun personality. Kaytlin possesses a remarkable ability to track and connect with the ball during her attacks, particularly in her final two steps. Her collection of ace videos is nothing short of impressive, showcasing her exceptional skills on the volleyball court. Kaytlin shared, “I think social media has played a huge role in my volleyball journey because I feel like it’s getting my name out there faster. I’ve had athletes come up to me and say, ‘I think I’ve seen your Instagram before’ and it’s really cool to see that! Also, colleges have easy access to highlight reels and they can keep track of what’s going on in my volleyball world!”

When I inquired about her approach to her social media page, Sade articulated it beautifully. “Social media gives me the opportunity to proudly showcase my skills and achievements on the volleyball court to a wider audience. I receive positive feedback and correcting feedback that helps me boost my growing career.”

Delaney commented, “Social media has given me the opportunity and ability to connect with mentors, coaches, trainers and fellow collegiate bound athletes. It has helped inspire me to keep climbing to new goals and document my achievements along the way.”

Mary Nahinu’s presence on social media has been instrumental in her journey to Utah Tech. Mary shared her thoughts, saying, “social media definitely has its advantages and disadvantages. I’ve been using it since I started playing competitively. It has not only showcased my talent but the growth I’ve made in the process. It has given me a brand, or unique status, that highlights my values, personality, BIG FAILS, and grit I put into the game.”
