I'm still covering a lot of ground. This brings us back to State Line Tidbits for the high school season. A new feature is here titled, "Double Trouble". I will do my best to highlight a handful of players each week who delivered double-doubles within the last week on both sides of the state line. Here we go!

Hayden Grace - Andover Central - 2024 - S/RS

The idea came from getting tagged in a post highlighting Grace doing numbers in a tournament championship match against Clearwater. In the match, she came through with 17 assists and 12 kills.

[player_tooltip player_id='459892' first='Ashley' last='Eveler'] - St. Joseph's Academy - 2026 - S

Eveler was straight-up balling in the contest Tuesday versus Eureka. The sophomore was clutch in a 3-1 victory dishing out 41 assists in the match. She did her part defensively also with 18 digs.

[player_tooltip player_id='493041' first='Alexis' last='Collins'] and Neely Schaff - El Dorado Springs - 2025

We couldn't choose one so why not both? Both Collins and Schaff had 16 kills in a five-set battle on 9/12. They were as impressive defensively with Collins grabbing 29 digs and Schaff not far behind with 21.

[player_tooltip player_id='153930' first='Abigail' last='Mullen'] - Liberty - 2025 - OH/RS

Mullen made her return to the court after a busy summer with USA volleyball and she was welcomed with open arms. She doubled up on the number 19, kills and digs.

[player_tooltip player_id='434374' first='Kya' last='Behr'] - Great Bend - 2027 - S

The freshman dropped an early season double-double in a tough 2-1 defeat to Manhattan. She finished the match with 17 assists and 11 digs.

[player_tooltip player_id='493452' first='Sadie' last='Rethman'] (2025) and [player_tooltip player_id='357545' first='Jade' last='Xu'] (2026) - Emporia

These two were on their game in a 2-1 win over Andale over the weekend. Rethman delivered 13 kills while Xu led the team with 14. She matched those 14 kills with 14 digs and Rethman added 11 of her own.
