Kittson Central-Lancaster’s Kaydence White Kaydence White 6’0″ | MB Kittson County Central | 2026 State MN helped her team sweep Goodridge-Grygla 3-0 by scores of 25-14, 25-8, 25-11.
White led with 19 kills as she hit on 90.5% of her kill attempts. She also tallied a service ace, a dig, and a serve reception. The sophomore middle hitter has 239 kills this season, and she’ rapidly approaching 500 career kills in just her second varsity season.
She already has 463 kills amid back-to-back seasons of 224 or more kills. White also has 55 service aces, 86 blocks, and 55 digs in her young career.
At 5-foot-11, White has excellent jumping ability and ball placement when she goes for a kill. White’s reach towers over the net, and she delivers the ball with great velocity.

Winona Cotter’s Camrie Macal Camrie Macal 5’10” | OH Cotter | 2026 MN helped her team sweep Dover-Eyota 3-0 by scores of 25-19, 25-15, 25-16.
Macal led Cotter with 10 kills, and she added eight digs. The sophomore outside hitter passed the 202 kill mark for the season in the win, and she’s on the edge of 400 career kills with 397.
She similarly dominates on digs with 122 this season, and she’s well on pace for 400 career digs this season with 379 thus far. Macal dominated on defense as a freshman with 257 kills in 2022.
On the attack, Macal hits with excellent velocity and tough angles from the outside. She’s effective in the middle, too, as she uses her height and length to her advantage.
Highlights
Kiney Soiney stepped up for Mabel-Canton in a 3-0 win by scores of 25-8, 25-5, 25-8.
Soiney led the Cougars with 18 kills, and she posted a service ace, three blocks, and two digs. Overall, she has 393 kills for the season amid her recent milestone of 1,000 career kills, 1,085 overall. She’s also on pace for back-to-back seasons of 441 or more kills.
On defense, Soiney has 124 digs this season, and she could hit 300 for her career with 235 already. Soiney likewise thrives by the net amid 242 career blocks with 57 this season.
At 5-foot-10, she uses her height well, and she’s tough in the middle whether on the attack or playing defense.
Kasson-Mantorville’s Ellie Ask Ellie Ask 5’7″ | OH Kasson-Mantorville | 2024 State MN posted nine kills and four digs as the Komets swept Rochester Lourdes 3-0 by scores of 25-10, 25-6, 25-16.
Ask excels at jumping and delivering the kill from both sides. She has great velocity, and she places the ball well.
On defense, Ask uses her 5-foot-8 frame well to get blocks, including an occasional one-handed block. She has excellent reach and timinig.
Ella Chandler Ella Chandler 5’11” | OH Zumbrota-Mazeppa | 2025 State MN stepped up for Zumbrota-Mazeppa in a 3-0 win over Stewartville, 26-24, 25-23, 25-19.
Chandler posted 11 kills and 13 digs plus one service ace in the victory. Against Stewartville, Chandler displayed her quick reaction time plus her excellent reach in delivering her kills.
The junior outside hitter has good measurables with an 88-inch reach, a 102-inch block jump, and a 114-inch approach jump. Chandler shows all of those clearly on the court when going to kills.
Minnewaska’s Aver Fier collected her 500th career kill against West Central 3-1 by scores of 15-25, 25-21, 25-13, 25-14.
Fier finished with 14 kills, 23 digs, and three blocks. She’s quick to the ball on digs with excellent footwork. On the attack, she has a good swing and gets good velocity on her kill attempts.
Minnewaska utilizes the 5-foot-6 senior’s versatility as a defensive specialist and a middle hitter. She’s a solid leader on the court and works well with her teammates.
