has already recorded over 1,000 kills and is approaching 1,000 digs, proving she’s as complete as they come. Macal plays with a fearless mentality—terminating against size, tooling the block, and hitting with range to every zone. In serve receive, she provides consistency that allows her team to stay in system, and defensively, she reads hitters with discipline. Her blend of ball control, power, and game awareness gives her all the tools to excel at the next level. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

Camrie is a 6-rotation athlete with a lot of potential. She has an insane amount of raw talent and is a physical pin hitter. As she continues to gain experience, she will only become more dominant. She is a player to watch in this class.

helped her team sweep Dover-Eyota 3-0 by scores of 25-19, 25-15, 25-16.
Macal led Cotter with 10 kills, and she added eight digs. The sophomore outside hitter passed the 202 kill mark for the season in the win, and she’s on the edge of 400 career kills with 397.
She similarly dominates on digs with 122 this season, and she’s well on pace for 400 career digs this season with 379 thus far. Macal dominated on defense as a freshman with 257 kills in 2022.
On the attack, Macal hits with excellent velocity and tough angles from the outside. She’s effective in the middle, too, as she uses her height and length to her advantage.

After watching Macal’s highlight reel you really don’t know where she is going to take her next swing because she was attacking from every spot on the net. She has a heavy arm and an aggressive approach making her one playing you don’t want to leave without a blocker. Although, a blocker may not even help because she is pretty da
good at tooling those as well.

Macal is new to my radar, but she is definitely making waves with 118 kills so far in 2022. She is a six-rotation attacker from the Winona area and she does a great job getting a high contact on the ball. Macal plays solid defense in the back court and has 167 digs already this season. The most exciting part about players like Macal is that they have the time and room to grow, and yet they’ve already started off strong. She has good ball control and can serve tough to keep teams out-of-system. I’m looking forward to seeing where Macal can go.
