As the event quickly approaches, let’s take a look at some of the prospects who have already signed in and will be there showing their skills.
Rivich played a big role with Cypress Ranch during the last high school season, contributing to the team with her all-around game. She was called upon to help with her backcourt skills on most occasions, but also showed she can get the job done at the net. Very technical and long, Rivich has a lot of offensive tools and is very difficult to stop offensively. She also uses her length well on the backcourt, covering a lot of ground in serve-receive and making impressive digs.
Another prospect to return to our showcases after leaving a strong impression in the summer, King had a solid sophomore season with Manvel. The Mavericks have one of the best setters in the Houston area in Kenedy Massie Kenedy Massie 5’11” | S Manvel | 2025 State TX , but King’s all-around game was more than enough to get her significant playing time. She’s a prospect who can set, hit, block and play defense at a high level and players like that will always be on the court. When setting, she stands out fo her accuracy and consistently good ball-handling.
Highlights
A hard-working defensive player, Welch will be one of the prospects we’ll be looking at on the backcourt during the event. She’s an outstanding passer, who moves quickly to the right spot and is very good at getting her body in the right position and finding the right angles to deliver the ball with great precision to her setter. Welch can also be a difference-maker when playing defense. She can take up either the middle or the left positions and combines excellent reading of the game and tremendous ball control.
