Recruiting Commitment Updates Vol 85

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It doesn't matter what level you play at when you think about the fact that NCAA research shows that only four percent of high school volleyball players play in college.&nbsp; Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right to play at the next level.&nbsp; The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming.&nbsp; We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams.&nbsp; We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front.&nbsp; There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news.&nbsp; These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season.&nbsp; They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their college decisions.&nbsp; Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='258879' first='Raylee' last='Schaffner'] [2024] 5-9 Outside (HS: Bridgeland/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston']/Verbal: University of Mary Hardin-Baylor)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Raylee is currently an unranked prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.&nbsp; She plays for Bridgeland High School and also for the [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball Houston club. &nbsp;Miss Schaffner uses her arms very well during her up swing in order to take flight and get as high as possible on the left side pin.&nbsp; I love how she is able to adjust to an out of system play and come way inside if need be and still get an aggressive swing on the ball.&nbsp; When watching her compete you can see her making a solid hand contact on the ball and providing great snap on it to get some great top spin on it.&nbsp; She is a great all around volleyball player who will do great things at the next level.&nbsp; We are extremely proud to announce that she has decided to play volleyball at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.&nbsp; Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='180174' first='Gillian' last='Pitts'] [2025] 5-9 Libero (HS: Prestonwood Christian/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball/Verbal: University of Houston)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gillian is currently ranked as the 15^th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.&nbsp; She plays volleyball at Prestonwood Christian High School and club for the nationally recognized [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball program. &nbsp;Miss Pitts is currently ranked as the second best libero in her grad class and also 80^th nationally.&nbsp; Some were just born to pass a volleyball and that is exactly who Gillian is.&nbsp; The ball rebounds so smoothly off of her platform and hardly ever shanks.&nbsp; She has some of the best posture in the position and can be seen delivering perfect balls to her setter.&nbsp; Did I mention that she has been playing up an age group in the Open division for the past few years?&nbsp; Well that should tell you just how good she actually is in the position.&nbsp; We are proud to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at the University of Houston.
