Recently crowned as a national champion with TAV 18 Black, Pitts is the second-best libero and the 15th overall prospect in our Class of 2025 State Ranking – she plays high school volleyball for Prestonwood Christian. She’s taller than the average libero at 5’9″, which allows her to get to balls others wouldn’t and is extremely technically gifted as well, making some impressive saves. Pitts is one of the best passing liberos in the country and that’s because she never deviates from her well-trained technical gestures. The libero is also very calm and mentally strong to endure moments of pressure.

We’ll wrap up Part 1 with another big-time 17 Open star from the Class of 2025. Pitts has been an impenetrable force in the TAV 17 Black backcourt this year, helping the entire roster to flourish in big moments. She’s unusually long for a libero, allowing her to extend her reach farther than you might expect. Pitts will surely have plenty of suitors from the college side and has boosted her stock further after GJNC.

Playing one age group up with TAV 17 Black, Pitts has grown into one of the most consistent liberos in the state. One of her main strengths is her mental power as the defender is capable of remaining ground and confident regardless of the situation her team is facing. A very tall libero, she’s capable of expanding her defensive reach far beyond a ‘regular-sized’ libero would, further strengthening her skillset. Technically wise, Pitts’ game is very smooth as she uses her positioning to cut corners and be in position to make plays over and over again.

The TAV 17 Black team that will compete in the 17 Open division has talent everywhere and libero is no exception. Pitts is one of the best in the business in the state of Texas and does an excellent job in terms of keeping things under control in the back. Although she’s playing one age group up, she’s a key player for her team with her ability to consistently pass well and make plays on defense. Her unusual length for a libero is a big asset for Pitts as it extends her defensive range and allows her to get to balls not many others would.
