The State Rankings update is here!!! We have added quite a few new players in this update and tons have made some serious moves bettering their stock. We have been watching the 2026 class very closely throughout the entire high school and new club season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be listed in the rankings due to their individual performances.

[player_tooltip player_id='444564' first='Ila' last='Marie Rose'] [2026] 5-10 Outside (HS: Centennial/Club: Bakersfield/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Please officially welcome Miss Rose to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 30th best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at Centennial High School and for the Bakersfield Juniors volleyball club program. We have covered Miss Rose quite a bit for the past year. I have been lucky enough to have watched her in person last season a few times and also last month at one of our showcases. She is a super talented left side baller who is a true game changer for any squad she is on. Did I mention that she is left-handed and also playing on the left side of the court? Not many people truly understand how hard that is for a lefty to do. Ila makes it seem so fluid and natural. Her passing, defense, and attacking are truly at a high level and she deserves many looks by college coaches. Since she stepped on the court for her varsity squad as a freshman, she has taken the volleyball world by storm. This is the first time we have her listed in the Rankings, but I guarantee it is not the last time she will be moving up on the list. Please help us congratulate her on her achievement of being listed amongst the great players of this state.

[player_tooltip player_id='394276' first='Bridget' last='Blu'] [2026] 6-0 Outside (HS: Mira Costa/Club: Actyve Volleyball/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Please officially welcome Miss Blu to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 44th best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at Mira Costa High School and for the Actyve volleyball club program. This dual sport dynamo also stars on the beach side of volleyball at Mira Costa. As an attacker, she is a true six rotation left side who can control the ball very well with her pass in order to set the tone for the offense. What stands out to most to me is her footwork. The way she moves on the court after the pass is very elite. Her heels hardly ever hit the floor and she glides like a ghost to her touch point of the attack when she flares out after the pass. The absolute best part of her footwork is how she is able to adjust to sets that may die inside the antenna a little. It may not seem as very difficult to the casual observer, but it is one of the toughest things to do as a high level attacker. When the average player adjusts to that set, they will likely roll shot or send over an off-speed shot to the defense. Miss Blu is not the average attacker during this circumstance. She is the type of hitter who adjusts and still is able to send a powerful attack that more than likely will either score for her team or be very aggressive to keep the defense out of system. We are happy to have her listed. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our prestigious State Rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='434845' first='Abigail' last='Lesagonicz'] [2026] 6-3 Right Side (HS: Rancho Bernardo/Club: Wave Volleyball/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Please officially welcome Miss Lesagonicz to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 45th best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at Rancho Bernardo High School and for the Wave volleyball club program. Miss Lesagonicz is a very talented opposite who can do a lot on the court at the net. While most of the time she plays on the right side, she is very capable of attacking on the left also. Armed with a super high contact point, it really adds to her weaponry while bombing away at her opponent. While most recruiters will be attracted to her height at first, I am sure they will fall in love with the high level at which she plays the game. As a blocker, I like how she is able to push off with her outside foot and set the block for her middle to close with. She is fast and furious to cut off her hitter's approach, which really helps her back row get set up around her early to defend the attack. For a team to have a solid weapon on the right side, it really adds so much firepower and balance to an offense. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our prestigious State Rankings.

As always stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes. If you have anyone you think we should watch out for, please shoot me an email with some info at Michael@prepdig.com. Also don't forget to help these kids get more exposure by sharing our stories with your friends. Help us help them by simply retweeting on Twitter or sharing on Facebook. Thanks for following us, Prep Dig California Family! Don't be afraid to interact with us. We love the likes, shares, and quotes/comments. Keep them coming!
