Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right to play at the next level. The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming. We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams. We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season. They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their college decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.
Taylor Porter Taylor Porter 5'11" | OH Cypress Ranch | 2025 State #85 Nation TX [2025] 5-11 Outside (HS: Cypress Ranch/Club: Houston Skyline/Verbal: Vanderbilt University)
Taylor is currently ranked as the 9th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Cy Ranch High School and also for the amazing Houston Skyline club program. Miss Porter is very well known by us at Prep Dig as many of our scouts have followed her volleyball journey over the past few years. Very few players have her amazing vertical, hang-time, and power at the net. She has so much ball control in every aspect of the game and it is a sheer joy to watch. Taylor is truly lightning in a bottle as she moves all over the court to play the ball, but yet she also has so much gracefulness while digging and passing. I love how she doesn’t let anything affect her play and keeps chopping at the tree until it falls down. She is the type of warrior that any coach would love to have on their roster. We are extremely proud to announce that she has decided to play volleyball at Vanderbilt University. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level.
Morgan Madison [2025] 5-6 Libero (HS: College Park/Club: Houston Skyline/Verbal: Baylor University)
Morgan is currently an unranked prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is on my watch list and will be making a huge splash when I update the list in a few months. She plays volleyball at College Park High School in the Woodlands and club for the Houston Skyline volleyball program. Miss Madison is a super smooth back row defender who has been battling in the Open level for quite a while with her club teammates. Serve receive is her bread and butter as she always stays super low to the ground and keeps that posture throughout the entire pass. She comes out of nowhere to pancake a ball that no one thinks she has the ability to touch because of how far away it is. Her emergency techniques playing the ball with one arm or overhead are next level also. We are proud to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at Baylor University. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing college volleyball.
Lauren Witte Lauren Witte 5'10" | OH Fulshear | 2025 TX [2025] 5-10 Outside (HS: Fulshear/Club: Houston Skyline/Verbal: Dallas Baptist University)
Lauren is currently an unranked prospect in the state according to the 2025 Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is on my watch list based off of what I have seen from her this year. She plays for Fulshear High School and plays club for the Houston Skyline volleyball program. Miss Witte has been throttling the ball this past high school season and has earned offensive player of the year for her district. Luaren has some serious hang time in her attack approach and is very difficult to block because of it. She hits the ball with extreme authority and scores at-will on the left side pin. What I love about her attacking ability is that she uses some awesome court vision to see the block right in front of her and tool it with a very aggressive power tip off of their outside hands. This young lady is just a point waiting to happen on the court and we love it! We are proud to announce that she has committed to playing volleyball at Dallas Baptist University. Please help us congratulate her on realizing her dream of playing at the next level.
