Lydia is a lefty setter who also took some really nice swings throughout the expo. She has good fundamentals and was a consistent force on the court. Her steady play allowed her hitters to make great connections.
Emree really impressed me with her touch on the ball and smart choices. She really seemed to see the other side of the net and worked to give her hitters 1:1 opportunities. Her placement and decision-making were key to her stand-out performance ant the Top 250 Expo.
Highlights
Laina was a confident and energetic presence on the court. She started jump-setting immediately during ball control drills and was fearless in her play. She ran the court well in 6v6 play and was engaged and competitive every moment she was on the court.
Highlights
Hailey was willing to do anything at the Top 250 Expo. She got in her fair share of setting but hopped in and played middle when her team needed it. And she was actually pretty solid as a fill-in middle as well! She had some great kills. Hailey caught my eye early in the event and was notably impressive with her ability to connect with any middle she paired up with. She had clean feet and a great touch on the ball.
Highlights
Payton is a player to watch in this class. She is a 6’0″ setter who moves the ball around quickly, cleanly, and efficiently. Payton had a great connection with many of the middles she worked with. She is tough to read and is not afraid to take risks to give her hitters 1:1 opportunities. She is a smart and savvy setter who runs the court well.
Lizzy has a lot of potential to be a high-level setter. She has soft hands and great ball control. She can move the ball from pin to pin from nearly anywhere on the court. Lizzy brings a lot of experience to the court and stood out at the expo. She can also swing which makes her a huge asset to any team she is on.
Andrea is a player to watch in this class. She has great form is a talented setter, and is also very competitive in defense. She made some great digs in 6v6 play and really set her team up for success. Her all-around skills made her stand out throughout the Expo.
