Here is our look at another terrific group of middles that played at the Washington Top 250 Expo. Huge blocks, terrific swings, and all-out hustle; these impressive prospects wowed the coaches in Lynnwood.
Longspaugh was dynamic at the Expo, showing the form that earned her 1st Team All-Conference in the Metro 2A/3A this season. The freshman from Stanwood has a heavy arm swing, and she was able to turn the ball to score against big blocks. Expo coaches noted her ability to get off the net and make herself available for her setters in transition.
Highlights
Brown impressed the coaches with her blocking, the Mountlake Terrace 2025 prospect played big and used her 6’1 length to disrupt hitters in the six on six session. She is growing as an offensive player, and showed good aggressiveness in joust situations at the net. One coach mentioned her rapid improvement, noting the junior only began playing in 7th grade. Brown should have a another big jump in the 2024 club season.

Grabarska displayed strong hands at the net as a blocker and at 6’1 the 2025 prospect from Redmond High School was able to control jousts and overpasses with style. Expo coaches liked Grabaska’s physicality, she has a solid frame and plays with force and is decisive at the net.
Highlights
Coaches noticed the versatility that Hunt showed at the Expo, she has good feet and is able to take swings from any spot along the net. She racked up kills for Anacortes this season after being a big part of a successful SIVA squad during club in 2023. A multi-sport athlete, Hunt showed excellent skill and feel for the game overall, the 2025 prospect is strong and consistent in her play.
The Kennedy Catholic freshman has great extension on her arm swing, coaches loved the way she attacked high hands and cut the ball to the sharp angle. Hollis is long and moves well, she is able to score with swings from the right side along with the 1 and 31 sets out of the middle. Coaches at the Expo expect Hollis to have a breakout 2024 club season.
