Amaree Hollis Amaree Hollis 6'1" | MB/RS Kennedy Catholic | 2027 State WA , a Class of 2027 middle blocker from Kennedy Catholic High School in Burien and Spaceneedle Volleyball Foundation , currently ranked No. 5 overall in the Prep Dig Washington State Rankings, has earned that position at the top of the list by putting together the kind of club campaign that makes it impossible to argue against the recognition. Prep Dig scouts noted that she improved her ability to move her attacks to all parts of the court, showing off a hammer ball that goes down and finding ways to terminate points even when the set is not perfect, which is the mark of a high-level middle who makes the offense work rather than waiting for ideal conditions to produce. At 6’1″ she already brings the physical tools that Power Five programs are aggressively pursuing at the middle position, and she pairs that frame with an attacking arsenal and a net presence that gives opposing systems genuine problems regardless of how they try to defend her. The fact that she performs at this level while competing at Kennedy Catholic, one of the premier volleyball environments in the state of Washington, tells you the competition she has been tested against every single day has only sharpened what was already there. She is a top-five prospect in one of the most competitive states on the West Coast entering her senior year. Programs that have not yet made the call need to do so today. Hollis is a powerful middle who is terminal on multiple routes across the net. The Space Needle 17 Blitz prospect has worked hard on other facets of her game; she is a solid defender and passer from the middle, and she plays defense after serving. Hollis has always had a big-time press as a blocker, and her recognition and anticipation are top-notch.

The Kennedy Catholic MB moves up in the rankings to #3 overall after a terrific club campaign. Hollis improved her ability to move her attacks to all parts of the court, showing off a thumb-down hammer and finding ways to score even when a set was less than perfect. She is dialing in a tough jump float serve and has excellent length and activity as a blocker.

Amaree Hollis earned MVP honors at the NorCal PrepDig Stock Up Showcase for her relentless energy, powerful offense, and vocal leadership at the net. Selected by Coach Breanna Banks, Amaree showcased the versatility to dominate as both a middle blocker and right-side hitter, always active, always engaged, and always ready to make a play.

As a middle, Amaree’s coverage was exceptional. She moved fluidly along the net, reading hitters and sealing blocks with precision. Her communication stood out, constantly directing her pin blockers and calling out tendencies to help organize the defense. That leadership created a noticeable ripple effect across the court.

Offensively, Amaree brought the heat. Whether swinging off a slide, quick set, or out-of-system ball, her arm speed and strength made her attacks nearly unstoppable. Hollis played in the middle and on the right side for Kennedy Catholic this fall. The 2027 prospect was named a Top Performer in the middle at the Expo. She has a heavy arm and can work the ball off and around the block for kills. Coaches appreciated her hard work from the service line and her gritty defensive play. Hollis moves well and makes defensive plays you don’t always see from a 6’1″ MB.

Hollis was the highlight package in a battle against FC Elie 15 White. Her work rate in the middle was super high. She touched swing after swing, creating transition opportunities for SIVBC. She broke out a nasty serve and backed it up with some athletic digs in the back row; middles play defense, too! Expect Hollis to have a breakout fall with Kennedy Catholic this school season.

Hollis made the 3-hour drive from Bellevue to compete at the showcase, bringing a high level of play into the gym. She currently sits as Washington’s #2 middle and #11 overall recruit. Hollis is explosive off the floor, getting off the ground quickly to obliterate the ball. She did a good job adjusting to different setters and sets, finding ways to score during scrimmages.
