The fall of 2023 saw a lot of big time players come into the picture. Players that have maybe fell under the radar had breakout seasons. There also some players that took it up a notch.

From 2023 to 2024, this is going to be another exciting year for the 2025 class. Several of these players enter the club space as top rated recruits on national championship contending teams. Some are names that aren't too familiar but are very worthy to be atop of your list to watch out for.

Let's take a look at 10 ranked players from Michigan in the 2025 class that you need to watch out for in 2024.

No. 15 [player_tooltip player_id='288946' first='Alana' last='Bailey'] - East Kentwood/FaR Out

This player is easily one of the top uncommitted players left in this field of 2025s. 2023 saw [player_tooltip player_id='288946' first='Alana' last='Bailey'] showcase some incredible momentum going into her junior club season. Due to her age, Bailey was able to play down an age group with FaR Out 15 Black, and she dominated the field. One of the top blockers in the open division, she was critical in leading that team to a top five finish at nationals. Fast forward a promising fall, Bailey will make the jump to 18s with 18 Black. A star-studded cast with some of the best in Michigan. Bailey will fit in quite quickly.

No. 17 [player_tooltip player_id='224272' first='Cambria' last='Gaier'] - Caledonia/FaR Out

Another product out of the FaR Out cannon, [player_tooltip player_id='224272' first='Cambria' last='Gaier'] had a huge 2023 year. Lucky for us, I don't think we've even scratched the surface of what she could do. The star of the show for last year's 16 Black, Gaier led that team to a top five finish in the premier division at AAU Nationals. So impressive, Gaier was named to the All-American list. She comes into the 2024 club season with a ton of momentum after emerging as the star for Caledonia. A recent commit to an up-and-coming South Alabama program, Gaier will join Bailey on FaR Out's 18 Black team.

No. 19 [player_tooltip player_id='156340' first='Addison' last='Williams'] - South Lyon East/Legacy

Digging into the west side, let's take a look at this east side product. Quite frankly, I am shocked to see that [player_tooltip player_id='156340' first='Addison' last='Williams'] hasn't been snatched up by any college program yet. Williams is a national champion and a powerhouse at the net. Throw her in the middle, or have her on the opposite, she's an incredible blocker and a burgeoning threat of an attacker. Williams had a stellar fall with South Lyon East and will return to that 15 Open National Championship winning squad this winter. I am excited to see where she plays the majority of the time given her versatility.

No. 22 [player_tooltip player_id='261152' first='Grace' last='Cooney'] - Hartland/L2

If you didn't catch [player_tooltip player_id='261152' first='Grace' last='Cooney'] in action this fall, consider yourself warned. Cooney made herself known in a big way and I have a big feeling that she's just getting started. While showing a ton of promising in club, L2 got thrown around a bit for the majority of the season. With Hartland, Cooney easily cemented herself as one of the biggest hammers in the middle across the state. She'll join Arizona commit, [player_tooltip player_id='156298' first='Chloe' last='Giehtbrock'], this club season and I am excited to see this connection further flourish. Consider this a huge get for Oakland given her rapid trajectory as of late.

No. 24 [player_tooltip player_id='472798' first='Cassidy' last='Pratley'] - Harper Creek/Midwest Select

Much like Cooney, [player_tooltip player_id='472798' first='Cassidy' last='Pratley'] is a player that fell under the radar big time until the fall. Exploding onto the scene, Pratley put the entire state on high alert with her booming ways in the middle. It's been awhile since we've heard any rumblings from this Harper Creek program. And they seem to be coming back in a BIG way. She recently committed to Western Michigan this past fall, a huge pick-up for this emerging mid-major powerhouse. Pratley is a successful multi-sport athlete, and an untapped talent on the volleyball courts.

No. 28 [player_tooltip player_id='156319' first='Addison' last='Newblatt'] - Clarkston/Michigan Elite

[player_tooltip player_id='156319' first='Addison' last='Newblatt'] is no stranger to some serious high level volleyball. After winning a national championship in 15 Open with Legacy, she followed it up with a Runner-Up finish in 16 Open with Michigan Elite last summer. An incredible defender, this past fall we saw a whole other side of Newblatt. From mainly DSing over the course of her career, Clarkston plugged Newblatt in as a six rotation outside hitter and found out just how much of a powerhouse she was. Top tier defense and arguably one of the heaviest arms in the gym, Newblatt was a game changer in Clarkston overcoming that hump to advance to the Final Four in November. Given her success, I wouldn't be surprised to see her utilized for more than her defense this club season.

No. 35 [player_tooltip player_id='459245' first='Kate' last='Schneider'] - L'Anse Creuse North/Crank It

This is player that has been on my radar for quite sometime after being a star performer at several Prep Dig showcases. However, this fall, [player_tooltip player_id='459245' first='Kate' last='Schneider'] made herself known to just about everyone else in the state after an incredible junior season. In the middle for L'Anse Creuse North, she was an attacking dynamo. Her high ball in the middle and ability to slice the ball all around the court, she was hard to defend. Schneider's game was integral in LCN's historic run this November. She'll be back with a bulk of those teammates with Crank It this winter.

No. 37 [player_tooltip player_id='261206' first='Sarah' last='Bradley'] - Everest Collegiate/Unified

[player_tooltip player_id='261206' first='Sarah' last='Bradley']

The 2023 Final Four was one of the most memorable in years. One of the biggest reasons why was [player_tooltip player_id='261206' first='Sarah' last='Bradley']. Down 2-0 in both the semis and finals was no hard task for this player. Turning things up a notch, Bradley would just nonchalantly go on two 25+ kill performances to win the Division 4 title. She's a player I didn't know too well going into that weekend, but after that, I will be surely keeping tabs. She rejoins her group from Unified a season ago and will look to continue her winning ways.

No. 47 [player_tooltip player_id='288961' first='Mallory' last='McFarlane'] - Saline/Michigan Elite

Get you a player that can come off the bench and pass a 2.7 in the State Semifinals. This was the story heard around the state last November. Fast forward to this fall, we learned that this type of game was most certainly not a fluke, but the norm for [player_tooltip player_id='288961' first='Mallory' last='McFarlane']. After that stellar performance, she followed it up with honing in on the libero jersey for Saline this fall. Yet, another incredible defensive player from the Hornet cannon, McFarlane showed glimpses of being a top tier 'bro. One of those performances came once again in the Sweet Sixteen against Northville where she had over 20 digs in the four set loss.

No. 57 [player_tooltip player_id='457339' first='Tia' last='Schultz'] - Dexter/L2

It has been awhile since we've heard from Dexter Volleyball out of the SEC conference. But after this fall, we may not be done hearing about them with [player_tooltip player_id='457339' first='Tia' last='Schultz'] coming into her own. Standing at 6'1 with a lengthy wingspan, this lefty attacker put a lot of people on high alert coming from the fall season. She was a leading scorer for the Dreadnoughts and helped them finish their highest in the SEC in several years. Schultz will head up an impressive L2 172 team this winter, a great addition to the squad after placing top ten at nationals last summer.
