Surprisingly, Roundy was an athlete who did not get on our radar until late in the game. But watching her dominate this past season for Marist made her hard to miss. At 6’3”, she is one of the tallest recruits in the State. When blocking, she creates a wall at the net with her height and impressive hops. Athletic, she moves quickly laterally with a productive first step. She is a dominant attacker and was hard to defend against in the fall. Previously with Webfoot, Roundy has joined the NPJ 17-1 National team for this club season. Committing to Grand Canyon University back in August, Roundy was one of the first 2025s to commit.

Harrington has made lots of improvements over the course of a year. A middle blocker for Athena 16-2 Black last season, she had a dominant high school season for Corbett High School, earning Coastal Range First Team All-League honors. Her improvement was clearly noted by Athena, earning a spot on their 17-1 National team. She is aggressive in transition and is a commanding presence offensively. At 6’2″, Harrington has a high recruiting ceiling and should be a sought-after recruit.

Sorem is a 6-foot middle blocker/right-side attacker from South Salem. Returning to the Saxon’s varsity squad this high school season, she saw court time in both the middle and right. Sorem puts up a big block and consistently shut down attackers during the fall season. She brings an aggressive jump float to the service line that racked up a lot of aces and disruptions. She will be playing for NPJ 18-2 National this club season.

Berry is an athletic and explosive 6’2” middle blocker out of Milwaukie. Starting their athletic pursuits in volleyball as a freshman, they have improved leaps and bounds in a short amount of time. Receiving Northwest Oregon Second Team All-Leauge is a testament to this improvement. They have a high reach on the ball and display a quick arm. I am eager to see Berry’s continued improvement this club season with NW Elite 18-1 International.
Henderson, a dual-sport athlete and a top basketball player in the State, is as athletic as they come. At 6 feet with impressive leaping abilities, she makes for a lethal middle blocker. For Springfield High School, she was an incredibly productive blocker. Her stats alone speak to this, racking up over 80 blocks on the season, putting her in the top 10 in the State for total blocks across all classifications. Playing club volleyball for Gameday while working to win another basketball state championship, it is safe to assume she will want to pursue basketball at the collegiate level as well.

Read is a bouncy outside hitter and a technical defensive specialist from St. Mary’s Academy. While she has dialed into her ability to command the backcourt, she also has the skill to swing in the front row. Although she is slightly undersized as an attacker, she has impressive hops and a whippy arm swing to rack up kills. Defensively, she moves around the court well and does a good job choosing which dive/sprawl tactic to employ to get the ball up. Competing with Aspire NW 17-1 this club season, I will be eager to see what role Read takes on.
Faulkner is a defensive specialist from McNary High School. This past fall, she was given the opportunity to see a lot of court time as the Celtics’ starting libero. She exhibited continued improvement throughout the season. Her ability to read the serve and the attack to put herself in a good position to make a solid pass was noted. Faulkner will be continuing to finesse her backrow skills this club season with Capital City Elite .
Highlights
Kreuger is a 6-foot right-side attacker from Ida B. Wells High School. She showcases a great rhythm to her approach with an aggressive snap on the ball. When attacking, she finds holes in the block and mixes up her attack location to create point-scoring opportunities for herself. While she can play any position across the front row, she has really dialed into her play on the right side, and the improvement shows. Playing for Athena 17-2 Black this club season, she should return to Wells well-prepared to dominate.
Highlights
Utu is a 5’9” setter out of Bend, playing for Caldera High School. This past high school season, she executed a 5-1 offense for the Wolfpack. Given her height, she can play across the front row and is very offensive-minded when doing so. She creates point-scoring opportunities for herself by attacking/tipping/dumping on the second ball. She displays great hustle, running down and getting her hands on almost everything. She will be playing for COVC 17-1 National this club season.
