However, there’s been a lot of good play from other programs and teams that don’t get the same attention.
Here’s five players that have been lifting their respective teams to success this year and deserve some more pub.
Arianna Brueckner, RS/S Dynamite 16-1 Adidas
This Dynamite squad has finished in the top five of three different club events in 2024, two coming in Club Divisions, while another came in the Open/Premier division. The consistent play of the team has been led by Brueckner, a dynamic setter/hitter combo player that is very scrappy and capable of changing the game in many ways. Her length allows her to play an up-tempo offense, while also being a big threat at the net with her power swing and with her blocking.
Emma Flick Emma Flick 5'2" | DS/L Traverse City West | 2026 State MI , L NorthShore 16 Betas
NorthShore 16 Betas already has a 16 Club Red Division title to its credit from the JVA Rock N’ Rumble, but it also placed third in the 16 Open/Premier Division of the Presidents’ Day Challenge in Detroit a few weeks back. The success of the team has to be linked to the high play of Flick, who opponents seem to be putting a lot of focus on. Though they try to avoid her in serve receive and attacks, Flick still finds a way to get to the ball and keep her offense in-system. The TC West sophomore plays with a lot of maturity and consistency.
Morgan Janowski, OH Crank It 16U Elite Black
Crank It has found a lot of success with its 16U Elite Black team in 2024 and the all-around play of Janowski has been a driving force for the team. The LCN sophomore has great court awareness and uses her athleticism to make the most out of each opportunity she gets. She may not be the fastest, or jump the highest on the court, but she utilizes her skillset well and she competes on every point. Janowski has been a difference maker with her offense, defense and serving at different points this club season.
Addilyn Vagi, S Monsters 16 Elite
Monsters 16 Elite has been piling up a lot of wins this club season in Open and Premier Divisions. The team had a lot of balance and that is a credit to the play of Vagi, the 2026 setter from Marysville. Vagi plays very under control and composed. She doesn’t force anything and has a good awareness of where the ball needs to go. Vagi has a smooth touch on her sets and she’s been able to raise the level of a lot of hitters on her squad this season.
Saige Zoro, MH Force 16 Adidas Select
Force has been piecing together some wins throughout the club season. Though the team lacks some size on the outside, Zoro has been a big X-factor from them in the middle. She’s got the size and length to power through blockers and also be a consistent blocker. Zoro also shows the footwork to move around the net and be able to attack from a variety of areas. On top of it, Zoro is an energy player that her teammates really feed off of.
