Mya Vanluik Mya Vanluik 5’10” | OH Minnewaska Area | 2028 MN ‘ last=”] is an absolute powerhouse pin hitter. She plays all six rotations and is competitive and hungry on the court. She is the kind of player who wants the next ball. She rarely makes the same mistake twice and can pick apart opposing defenses with her powerful and well-placed swing. Mya Vanluik Mya Vanluik 5’10” | OH Minnewaska Area | 2028 MN ‘ last=”]’s swings pack a punch, and she is a reliable weapon in the front and back row. She was also a key defensive asset and had great contact on serve receive.
Gabriella is a powerhouse middle that puts in the work on the court. She is great in transition, disciplined in running plays, and explosive in her movement. She puts up a big block and is a weapon on offense. She takes big swings and is fearless and aggressive in her decision-making.

Sadie is the kind of player who elevates the game of those around her. She played on the right side at the tournament, though she is listed as a middle on the roster. I am sure she is talented in both positions. She has great ball control and fundamentals, which allowed her to manufacture points and adjust her power and placement seamlessly. She had naturally good timing on the block and was really impressive throughout the weekend.
Lyndsie is a dynamic and energetic middle. She is a player who can be counted on to do her job and do it well. She is reliable, fast, and athletic. Lydnsie adjusts well to sets and has good court vision. She sees the blockers in front of her and adjusts her shots accordingly.

Kailyn is a very talented setter who runs a 5-1 on this talented Ice team. She has great hands and is very fast and athletic. Kailyn can make great plays when she is on the move and has a great connection with each of her hitters.
Highlights
Macy impressed me with her court awareness and how accurately she made reads on defense. Macy has a great platform and clean contact on the ball. She also has a really consistent out-of-system set. This Stateline 18s team is very young, and, as one of the more experienced players, Macy was a key piece as a leader and athlete.
