She’s comfortable as a six-rotation outside, holding her own in serve-receive and providing steady back-row defense. Her ability to terminate in transition, keep rallies alive with smart swings, and handle first contact makes her a coach’s dream at the high school level and a recruit with clear next-level upside. VanLuik impressives every time I see her play. She has the heart and drive for this sport and goes all out on the court. This weekend was no different. As an outside, VanLuik uses a variety of shots in order to rack up a number of kills for her team. She is exceptionally good when in system but this weekend her out of system hitting really stood out. She transitions well, has good timing, and delivers power behind those shots also making her hard to defend in just about every situation on the court.

Vanluik preps at Minnewauska and became one of the go-to attackers for her high school team. She is explosive in her approach, has a solid vertical, and uses every inch of the court to put balls down. Vanluik is headed to Khadi Elite and will be a big part of her 15-1 team this club season.
