Triple Crown is such an exciting tournament to kick off the season. Knowing my team will be competing against the best teams in the country, I am diligent in preparing both physically and mentally. I make sure each practice I am giving 100% and really absorbing the instruction my coaches are giving the team. Every player on my team shares the same intensity and goal to win. Along with my time on the court, I also train with the Wave strength and agility coaches three times a week. On off days, I make sure I am proactive with recovery. That entails cryo and cupping, and giving my body ample rest. See you in KC. Go Wave!

“To prepare for Triple Crown we are working as a team to keep our intensity level up throughout all of our matches. As an individual I’m getting ready for KC in the gym by working on my strength and mobility with my trainer. I’m also getting in as many serve receive reps as I can because of how important that is for a 6 rotation outside.”

“Coming from my experience preparing for a big tournament like this is staying healthy, staying uplifted, making sure I’m training almost everyday, getting to know my teammates better on and off the court and loving the game no matter how you’re feeling whether you think you’re playing good or bad but to just enjoy every minute of it. I also make sure that I’m constantly taking a step forward each day as we get to Triple Crown for instance watching film or working out or even meditating for me helps for anything.”

“As a Class of 2026 recruit, I’m really looking forward to the opportunity to have exposure to the college programs I’ve been reaching out to. Over the next week, I’m planning to send out a pre-tournament email to each school with another link to my highlights on YouTube and a note sharing my excitement to see them courtside in KC. I can’t wait to have another opportunity to compete with my team!”

I’ve been coming to Triple Crown for years and it’s always one of my favorite tournaments because of the level of competition and number of teams there. Our Tstreet team has been training hard on the court and in the weight room to prepare. I’ve also been trying to get as many extra reps as possible so my team can count on me to be at my best. I can’t wait to get out there and compete with clubs from all over the country!

“This will be my third triple crown and I couldn’t be more excited! Triple crown is a great opportunity to see some of the top teams in the country early on in the season. And because it’s not a qualifier teams can go in with less pressure ready to win and compete!”
